I’ve been on a health journey for a few years now… well it’s a long story like everyone’s… but the short of it is that I used Paleomedicina and the PKD diet for an aggressive cancer and with monthly measurement, the tumor did not grow for 8 months!! I got a lumpectomy and have been trying to find a more long term sustainable PKD-strong diet since then. Still on a health journey!! But keto and carnivore have been a huge part for me. During my journey, I found Amber O’Hearn and she became and has stayed for more than a year now… my very favorite carnivore/zero carb/Keto AF person!! Her Lipivore presentation is one of my favorites. She’s just so helpful and crazy smart. Thank you so much for the interview 🙌🏽💚🤩

Somewhere in the 28 mark - what she said is what happened to me. I was whole food plant-based 7.5 years. I slowly depleted my minerals and vitamins. It wasn't full-on noticeable until towards the end of 7 years. Then it was very obvious. Poor skin, hair, nails, vision, and energy. My vision was so bad I felt like I had sand in my eyes 24/7. My fingernails were so bad, they split, and actually peeled in half - I could pull of the top layer; they'd crack so bad I had to clip them right down to the tip of my fingers.

Hello and thank you for sharing your story! Yes, it takes a long time for nutrient deficiencies to show up on plant-based diets, but once they do, they are debilitating.
@LoriP1232 ай бұрын
@@JennyMitich Yes, because it takes so long for the deficiencies to show , people still advocate for plant-based diets. My cousin who has been vegetarian for approximately 3 decades (30 years!) is now riddled with cancer 😢 and doctors still say that diet has nothing to do with it!

Eight pregnancies here the last pregnancy was a homebirth and completely carnivore, and even though I didn’t feel like eating meat, I push through eat the meat and it kept the sickness away. I personally found that snacking on crackers or all of the other things people tell you to keep on hand to keep the sickness away, just perpetuated a cycle of feeling nauseous And gross had a really healthy baby and my labor was only two hours long was amazing

Even with Carnivore, I was issues and found some tests are better than others. Vitamin D is a problem in Northern climates. Vitamin D tests must be done using the LC/MS technique, Ulta labs has one that you can get most places, no Rx. The other Vitamin D tests are NOT accurate. If you are having fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue or other signs of B12 defecency because your body isn't working right yet: the urine B12 test is the most accurate.

Hello and thank you for the tips! Methylmalonic acid is another accurate test for B12 deficiency.
