This recipe is going to change my life! Have been unable to have any chocolate for over 4 years now. I’ve used carob in recipes, but never considered it for hot chocolate. WooHoo! Can’t wait to try it. Thank you for sharing. ❤️

Hi Michele, You are just such a doll! I just love you!! This is a great recipe. I can take chocolate but I would love to try carob just for a change of pace - and a different type of nutrition. Plus - this is great news for my husband because he is sensitive to caffeine and has never been able to enjoy a nice cup of cocoa at night. And thanks for the tip about the brand from Bob's Red Mill. I never heard of carob powder but this recipe sounds delicious. I am a huge cocoa lover in the winter time but I am trying to go with more natural stuff. I will have to give this a try.

Michele this will be fantastic for the Christmas gifts I send to my grandchildren. I like giving them something that is not artificial and full sugar, that is truly not that much sugar at all. I did not know the health benefits of carob and have no experience in using it. This sounds like a winner for sure. I am sure I will like it too..... Thank you

Hi Michelle, I made a second round out of this. It's already October. I'm pretty sure I got more than 12 cups out of it. Possibly 20! Maybe our tablespoons are smaller in Asia. 😜 This time I had Almond essence and wow it does make a difference. I tried it with natural soy milk just now. V yummy.

You're welcome! I have noticed the same effect in myself. I have to watch out for caffeine. I think you will enjoy Carob Cocoa, it gives you that creamy flavor and feeling of comfort that we all expect and remember from hot chocolate, but without the caffeine. Blessings to you! ~Michele
