Thank you to whomever is keeping the memory of Johnny Carson alive with this channel so people born after he retired can enjoy his comedy & hosting greatness.

He was truly the King of late night TV. Every talk show since has been a poor imitation.

She was great on "Mad About You " as well. I've never seen her do anything poorly as an entertainer.

Carol Burnett is one of the few talents from this era who is still around. I hope she can live for much longer, because she was a aura of talent that today’s sad excuse for female actresses/comic could only dream of. Thank you to whoever is uploading these old clips from a bygone era.

What I wouldn't give, to be able to walk into my house 1975. Just to see everyone again, and be able to watch these old shows once again.

Wow, that was so cool when she mentioned that she & Bert Convey had gone to high school together & dated a couple of times. She just seems like a very down to earth, sweet person! WE LOVE YOU, CAROL! ❤

No one. . . . And I mean NO ONE. . . . Can ever top the hilarity, the caring nature, the wholesomeness, of Carol Burnett. It is no secret that she is one of those people that generations will remember. My parents both watched her show when they were kids. I would just love to meet her. Even though that dream may always remain a dream.

I was working as a pastry chef at The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville and she stayed there during her book tour about 5 years ago. I didn’t meet her, but I made her a welcome dessert tray and she sent back kind regards.

Carol Burnett always seems so polite and respectful as other actors have said who have worked with her through her long career. She appears to be a genuinely nice person. I saw her surprise Vicki Lawrence once she was relating a story of how the producers said she was "too rough" to be hired on the Burnett Show. She said she told them, "So are diamonds, before they're polished." What a comment.

you know? Growing up consuming gringo media, there were a lot of "famous" people the were portrayed as "bigger than life" and as "generational talents" that once I'd go and watch/listen to their stuff, I wasn't impressed. So, I thought Carol Burnett will be along those lines: an overhyped-american only kind of talent. But in this interview alone you can see how she is really different, sparking, funny, witty and with a big presence. She is really great!

Carol Burnett not being scheduled as the first guest on Carson? How insulting. I loved Bert Coney (R.I.P.), but Burnett was (and is) an American icon. She absolutely should've been the first guest. But she has such grace that I'm sure she didn't make a big deal of it. Carson and his producers should've been ashamed of themselves.
