What a class act. The fact that she was ok with rolling with his mood swings, but she refused to let him take it out on a guest star speaks volumes about her grace. By all accounts she's the nicest person alive, but she's no pushover.

Loved her show. Such happy memories with my parents and siblings. What a great time.

I miss all the older comedians. You could enjoy them with your children in the room. Not today, sadley.

I was born in 2012, and it inspired me when I first saw this show. I was laughing so hard. The comedy shows back then like in the 60s and the 70s, it is way much better then the ones now

Is she the BEST or what????

Petula Clark always comes across as such a charming, well-mannered, very professional, and good-natured lady. I can't imagine she could have done to warrant Harvey Korman snapping at her rudely. What did he say to her and did this incident happen on the air?

It's sad how very little comments are seen here. If you love comedy, and the stick up other people's.. "opinions" say differently.. then so be it. Carol Burnett was hilarious, and brave. Besides.. Harvey was having a human moment. 👈👍

I just read a blog about this by some unknown person thinking the person had the inside scoop. Nope. This is in her book and youtube.

Some people found Harvey a little unchecked, he had a habit of saying whatever to whomever. Before he knew it he would have his foot in his mouth and when you took the foot out he would be laughing. He was his own riot, halarious, but he would laugh over scenes and thats the audiences job. It's indearing to be human but if the guy at burger king kept laughing through the speaker box as you ordered you'd go hungry.

True, but some of these skits were pretty lame affairs. The pleasure is in watching Conway trying, and ultimately succeeding in making Korman, a rather serious-looking man, break in spite of himself.
