Harvey Korman was/is a legend. It was often said that Tim Conway’s major goal in life was to completely destroy Harvey… by making him crack up in fits of laughter. All the moments where the cast members completely lose it from watching Tim’s antics (especially Harvey) is the best part of the show

@@ellegroover If it got really old and predictable then why waste your time? What a rude comment. Then why did you watch them ALL....many times? Please be respectful or don't post your insulting opinions about people you do not even know and have passed on. Gone are the days of "clean" comedy. Your laughing emoji contradicts your fake post.

Korman as Hedley Lamar in Blazing Saddles is a tour de force of pure comedy. One of his best skits on the Carol Burnett Show was he was a snooty rich fart in a smoking jacket in his mansion who is forced to answer his own phone. He prances over to the side table where the ringing phone sits by a bowl of fruit and a vase of flowers. He reaches out, grabs a banana and holds it to his ear, "hallo? hallo?" Ring ring ring---he looks at his hand, rolls his eyes and marvels how he could make such a silly mistake. He flips the banana stem up "hallo? hallo?" 😂🤣😂🤣🏆

That was "Rancid Harvest," which was a parody of the movie "Random Harvest." I have never seen the actual movie, but the parody was hysterical.

I miss Johnny Carson. He was a terrific host, and had the best guests whether they were famous or not. Comedy was so much better back then too, unlike a lot of vulgar comedy today. Harvey Korman was great, as were all of the co-stars on the Carol Burnett Show. I rarely watch TV today, and prefer watching older stuff on KZbin.

This episode was the first time I saw Harvey Korman not acting. I love his acting/comedy and he seems to be a down to earth person. I couldn't believe someone in the audience thought he was joking and laughed when he was telling us what happened to him. May he R.I.P.

He’s not at all well known here in the UK, we only really saw him in Mel Brooks films. Every time he pops up, I really enjoy his interviews and performances, *except* the Star Wars Holiday Special. Obviously, the material was very poor but, unlike Art Carney and Bea Arthur, he doesn’t manage to do anything with it, and it’s painfully unfunny.

Wow, I never knew this about Harvey Korman. Though it makes me think he was somewhat accident prone, considering at the beginning of the second season of "The Carol Burnett Show," he broke his toe, and then later on in the second season, he busted his hand. And then there was Season 3 Episode 2 with Nancy Wilson and Bernadette Peters during Carol's Carmen Miranda salute, when he jumped over Carol's skirt and landed flat on his back (but he didn't seem to have hurt himself too badly there).
