Day 35 of EPIC | Tabata Style HIIT Workout [NO EQUIPMENT]

High intensity, full body Tabata style workout hitting the entire body! No equipment!
All you will need for this workout is a bottle of water handy, a mat and lots of energy!!
ENSURE YOU WARM UP: Check out my 5 Min HIIT Warm Up Below
It is a Tabata format in that it is 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds rest throughout for 4 minutes per set (pair of exercises). Once you complete 4 minutes of a section, we then have 10 seconds rest to begin next set and so on!
This 30 minute full body high intensity workout is split into 7 pairs of exercises. We finish with hands to floor BURPEES for 20 seconds at the very end for a burn out!

BURPEE TO PUSH UP ALT FOOT TAP
BURPEE TO FLAT FOOT SWITCH
ALT LUNGE JUMPS
STRAIGHT LEG MARCH
SQUAT JUMPS
360° PUSH UPS
LATERAL LUNGE TO JUMP
HOVER SHOULDER TAPS
PLANK TO ALT 90° STRAIGHT LEG
PUSH UP BURPEE TO SHOULDER TAP
ROLLING TO ALT SINGLE LEG PUSH UP
BURPEE TUCK JUMP
Burnout: BURPEES! for 20 seconds!
Here are a few tips for some of the movements:
HOVER SHOULDER TAPS ensure knees only slightly off mat, hands directly under shoulders and back flat! During shoulder taps, you try to resist movement of the hips however it is more difficult in a hover position!
PLANK TO ALT 90° STRAIGHT LEG try to keep hips down throughout and back flat. Look directly straight down to the mat.
PUSH UP BURPEE TO SHOULDER TAP Try to resist movement of the hips during the shoulder taps!
ROLLING TO ALT SINGLE LEG PUSH UP perform a normal push up with both feet on mat instead of 1 only if preferred.
LATERAL LUNGE TO JUMP Try to remember what side you begin with and perform opposite side on next set!
As with any jumping movements, ensure to warm up your wrists and ankles.
Have fun with this workout! It will definitely get your heart rate up, limited recovery time so make sure to go at a pace suitable for you!

it looked intimidating but actually it was not that difficult to do..probably because 20 secs work nd 10sec rest...i still get chills thinking about last weeks emom ..that was a tough one

Hi Caroline....I always enjoy doing TABATA...I find you start off thinking it’s ok because the work is only 20 secs...but as the rest is short the intensity really builds up quickly! This looks like a very tough one with lots of burpee and push up variations! Hi Matthew, I too enjoy Tabata style a lot. Just having a minor setback as I hurt my shoulder and can't do any type of pushups. Modifications and alternate exercises are key for my staying on track. Hope you had fun with this one.

Have been following this series for almost a month and I was slowly noticing the change in me, not just aesthetics wise but also in motivation and lifestyle. Thanks Caroline for everything. Got tested Covid positive 2 days ago and will probably need to skip workout for some weeks now. But this will only be a short break. I'll make sure I'm coming back stronger.

Perfect! I like the Tabata style so much. I'm still having trouble with the roll-through push-ups (I can never get back into the push-up on one roll lol), but I was shocked at how easily I was able to do the other push-ups in this one. Progress! Thanks, Caroline!

This workout underscores that our bodies truly are the machine....boy-oh-boy, my workouts "HIIT" different in the afternoon than in the morning, perhaps I need to switch it up a bit. Feeling awesomely sweaty and great to close out the week with this one! 7.15.2022!

Started doing your workout after my corona recovery, I didn't know if I was capable enough but to my surprise, I'm seeing a visible difference in my body for the first time in my workout journey. I see my biceps definition when I lift my arms to tie my hair up, I see a proper ab definition and my thighs are soo much more toned! Keep doing her workout guys, I can say that in my 3 years of at home workout journey, I see changes and I feel stronger for the first time and I'm just 35 days in! Ily caroline, ur a goddess!❤

I'm very happy with this program and with my progress! I lost only 2kg BUT my body is more defined, thinner. My measurements are different from the beginning. I can see that clearly on the pictures I took. Amazing! Thank you for your commitment to help us!

Hey Caroline! Hope you good. Tabata HIIT 🔥✌️ is my favourite and like the fact that there is lot of jumping which will be challenging. I just did the workout , finished with 10 burpees in the 20sec finisher. Then I just slept on the floor , heartbeat was beating super- fast , face was as red as an apple but the cool-down calmed me down . Cool down is a must atleast for these kind of workouts. They make a big difference ❤️🔥.

Whew, this workout kicked my butt. This whole week kicked my butt actually. Starting from last Sunday’s EMOM HIIT Day 30 through today’s Day 35 it was a whole new level of challenging! Love it and I feel so accomplished for finishing it. Looking forward to a whole new week of challenge ahead!

Each 5th day - the HIIT Sunday - feels like a milestone 👊👊 I do the workout and then, when I look back, I think “whoa! already .. 35 days?? Did I do that??” and then again a new week, a new milestone and a new great feeling of achievement 😀😀😀👊👊👊 Great program!!!👍👍👍👍

Just finished this workout and for the first time ever I did all pushups on my toes!! I have never in my life been able to finish a lot of pushups without going on my knees for some of them but today I did it and I´m so happy and proud! Caroline is getting me in the best shape possible for 2021 (and I did CrossFit for years but this is way better). Thank you, Caroline!

Hi Samantha...yes definitely addictive!! I just love Caroline’s workouts! I don’t think that Caroline will have any thought of removing these workouts from KZbin. Amazing Caroline! Great way to start the day and the week ahead!! I thought I would find the pushups difficult because of all of them on Friday but I didn’t struggle at all, but felt STRONG (it was not easy by any means though!) and that is due to you and your brilliant programming! Building strength in us, those who you will never meet personally. We are so, so thankful for all you have done for us! Here’s to another EPIC week everyone!! Way to smash today! 👊🏻 💥

My golly just finished this workout Monday morning here Philippine time. When Caroline says its Tabata full body HIIT..... believe her!! Current state.... heart pumping like a thousand horse running, sweat dredging all over, body is shaking and fiery😂 Thank you so much Caroline this is such a good Monday starter for me. I am super sweaty! This was fun. I noticed a change in my mindset when we have new difficult moves. I think "Well that was fun to try that new challenge" Instead of being negative to myself because I couldn't do a move completely I loved giving what was MY best at all of these. Even if my best was one half push up towards the end!! LOL Blessings to you all on this beautiful Sweaty Sunday!! Week 8 we are coming for you!!!!

A few weeks ago this seemed impossible to do. I was like "What? That many burpees and push ups? Are you out of your mind?". But getting to the end of the workout and being able to have done most of it quite well really shows progress! Thank you Caroline for making me feel EPIC! 😀

I gave my everything at this! I look like I got rained on. Kept my heart rate up, stayed breathless. It was hard but I'm proud. When I started with Epic Beginner I could barely do 2-3 burpees. Now I can absolutely launch myself and go go go. Looking forward to day 36 and beyond!

I am dripping in sweat. This one is nearly the same intensity as some of your pre-epic hiits. Difference now is that I feel so much stronger doing it.

Excellent!! Yes it never becomes easier... yes mentally but physically you go faster, do more reps, lower push ups etc!!😆😆✋🏼💓

Boo Hoo.... I've been out for the past 7 days. Every 2-3 months I go through periods where I have vertigo. It leaves me debilitated with migraines and dizziness. In a couple of days I'll be fully recovered and ready for my girl to kick my butt again. Let me just say that I would've never imagined myself itching to get back to a workout🤯🤯. And although I couldn't participate, it brought me great joy to read all the positive comments and be witness to wonderful changes you are bringing about in people's lives. You are truly inspiring. Thank you😊

I have never thought i'd come so far. After years of yoyo-ing and fast ending sports journeys, hell of demotivation and disbelieve, that i am ever going to be a lean sporty person ...i now stay hier infront of my mirror in my forties and i can't believe my eyes, i look better than i ever did in my twenties...is that even posible? day 35 and i am just obsessend with the programm...never felt or looked like this in my entire life...EPIC ist just the half of how i feel! I feel double-epic, Caroline! I thank you from all my heart for showing me, that i can do more, than i ever thought i am capable of.
