A solo chorister sings Once In Royal David's City to begin the traditional celebration of Christmas from the Chapel of King's College, Cambridge.
The world-famous choir, directed by Stephen Cleobury, sings a glorious selection of carols, including Ding! Dong! Merrily on High (Wilberg), The Holly and the Ivy, The Three Kings (Cornelius) and O Come All Ye Faithful.
The Christmas story is told in the words of the King James Bible and in poems by Rowan Williams, Charles Causley and UA Fanthorpe.

Just as we would be upset if a female soloist had her looks, shape and makeup mentioned, instead of her voice and singing technique, the same rule applies to male soloists. Male commenters of certain persuasions need to control their middle-aged libidos and deal with the music and the soloist's skill and work at perfecting this presentation. This is, after all, a church service, not a concert, as the prior Dean (not the current Jeremy Corbyn look a like) liked to say. Comments espousing physical attraction need to be taken to those specialized web sites dealing with persons of those interests. These comments while not explicitly erotic (thank God) are also unwelcome considering the safeguarding of children issues all churches face.

I have just been directed towards your comments. How DARE YOU! Expound your unwarranted views upon my sexuality! Although you did not reply specifically to the comment I left. (but rather typed a new separate comment) I have already been informed by KZbin that, as there are no other comments upon this video. It IS directed towards myself. And therefore action can be taken under KZbin's policy on hateful and damaging speech or written comments. My comment is a joke between Stephen (the soloist whom I know well) and myself. It is long past time that KZbin eradicate 'self-appointed moralists' who feel it their duty to express their opinions upon subjects. ESPECIALLY when they don't have the full details about the subject they are wrongly incensed about! You HAVE crossed a line with your comments regarding my sexuality! I have reported your comments to KZbin, and they are making enquiries about what you have written. I strongly suggest that you either delete your libellous and actionable inference and comment upon someone you have never met. Or you place on this page a written public apology. I will be taking legal advice upon this matter. As KZbin have already made me aware of the steps I may take. There ARE far too many like YOU that purse their lips and have a screaming fit, and feel entitled to opine ESPECIALLY, on subjects where they DO NOT have the 'whole picture' and full information.
