Putting together longer videos can be cumbersome. I missed a few things in this video I meant to edit out. So, you'll see me talking to myself on camera trying to decide what to leave in the final video.. that got left in by mistake. Some real life behind the scenes for you. I also left in a caption that said to stay tuned next Sunday for the hike. I decided to make it one whole video and forgot to edit that out. I hope you love watching this video as much as I loved living it and creating it! Thank you so much for watching!

I will never understand why people have such a problem with nomads having animals! Did you see the epic morning walk miss Sadie got to take! Unlike dogs who are forced to live in the same fenced yard daily, she is out roaming the beaches, mountains and desserts of the world! Not to mention the fact that her extremely happy mama adores her! The love between you and Sadie is apparent just by watching the two of you interact! I’d say Sadie has an absolutely amazing dog life!

I am a single 64 yr. old woman, currently a Van lifer and have travelled in Mexico numerous times including the Baja and the Pacific Coast twice ..I also live and have a farm in Ecuador and have spent time on the coast land . I am tough, and for the most part fearless, however I would never hike alone along the beach in a remote area in Mexico or any other Latin American foreign country for that matter . I have had locals tell me not to wander out of sight when I have been birding near town.

My husband and I traveled a lot through Mexico and it was so nice to just stop and reflect about our journey. We enjoyed stopping for a rest by these little prayer stations, we could eat some lunch and possibly take a nap and reflect on the landscape. Mexico is beautiful with wonderful people in it.

I loved seeing and hearing the ocean and yes, I agree with you, we do live on a Global world and have a whole Universe to explore too. Sorry to hear about your ex husband, and glad you talked about him, I send you my condolences about him. The sea air carries to the desert and maybe reverse? I was told the Sahara desert carries across from the desert to the other parts of the world so would make sense that could happen in other parts of the world. what I learned about those " shrines" or little churches, I'm told the locals stop and pray and gives people from other parts of the world to stop and pray, a quiet moment. Enjoy the road less traveled Carolyn. Thanks for sharing the pacific ocean and the desert. Happy Boon docking! Sea air is good on you Carolyn, you seem relaxed! As a side note, I recalled yesterday about the USA for Africa I remember that Live Aid (Queen) Full Concert 1985, things that the US and Canada used to do, we use to have telethons and show genuine care, it's like a bad dream and where did that go?

Ok, you had me in tears about the words mix up! I can't agree with you more about being open to experiences outside our little bubbles. So many, like your late ex-husband, never get out of their own bubbles. They never experience other perspectives, cultures, ideas, ways of thinking. They live their lives so close to "home" and their universe is so tiny, so limited. It's why so many ultra-haters hate universities and the idea of travel. So often, going to University is the first time people meet others from other countries, other states, other counties. People with different families, backgrounds, ideas, perspectives and that threatens those who refuse to see. Don't ever stop speaking your truth!

OMG, thank you so much for this video. I especially appreciate the hike into the rough stuff. I will never get to see areas like that because my legs no longer cooperate with my mind's desires. The ocean sounds, the beauty of the desert, and the obsession with boondocking are deeply ingrained into my soul. There were so many things I was saying to you as you walked and talked. I couldn't write it all down, but I was enjoying our chat. LOL, I do this with most of your travel videos. I wonder how many other friendlies do that? It's probably why you feel like a close friend to me because I talk to you a lot. I gotta tell you that sound echoing off the rock faces were very eerie. Not just dog noises, some groaning and creaking noises as well, gave me a cold feeling in the pit of my stomach. My sympathies for your loss, I understand the feeling. I've out lasted 3 of my 4 husbands, and it is a true loss. I've rambled long enough, thank you again, I love seeing these sights through your eyes and thoughts. ☮️

What a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing everything. Every moment had something special and the nature is breathtaking. We do need a place to be quiet, take our minds off our troubles or busyness, get grounded into the present moment and just be. We are so busy doing, we forget to be. Only then can we notice the beauty of nature. It ebbs and flows. Nature knows when to rest and when to blossom. Look how beautiful everything was when you were walking and really stopped to look closely at the plants, notice the smells, see all the spring flowers, bees, stones, white sands, views, skies, clouds, rocks, walj on the beach, pick up sea shells, listen to the waves, etc. If you had been rushing and driving, you would have missed it all. Instead, you filled up your soul with the beauty of it all. It made me sad to hear about your ex husband that passed. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sorry to hear that he never got to travel. 😢 May he rest in peace. 💐 One if my biggest fears working in the corporate world most of my life, was that I would die running like a slave on the treadmill. The whole system is set up to keep us down. I am awake and very aware of it. How we are all being controlled. That is a whole other conversation. And for those that have not woken up yet, it can be very triggering. If people did not wake up and realuse what was being done to us globally in 2020, 2021 and into 2022, then nithing will wake them up. Some will stay stuck where they are oblivious. Freedom has been robbed from us. I had travelled to many countries, but could only travel when I took annual leave when I was working. I had a big title, worked my rear end off, and had very little to show for it. We are slaves. They want to keep us dumbed down, living from paychecj ti paycheck. Just never quite having enough to go and buy a house cash. Oh no. They force the pruces of property sky high. Make you pay a bond off for 20 odd years. You pay interests for 20 odd years and paid for that house 3 to 5 times more over the 20 years. You think you own your house. You do not, the bank owns it until you pay back what you loaned through your teeth. The whole banking and financial fiat currency based system is rigged against us. The banking cartels run everything behind the scenes. I woke up a long time ago. One has to be in the system and out of the system which is a challange. Look at your trip. You still need fiat money/currency to buy things. You even had to pay just to stop at the beach. There is always someone trying to get money. Until you left and went boondocking as you say. Just to get peace. In 2011 I fixed up my house, and sold it. The bond repayments were too high. The 2008 property crisis affected everyone around the world. It took a stressful year to sell my house. I quit my job. In 2012 I moved across country, lived at the coast for 2 years, then moved to another part of the country and lived in a nature reserve right at the coast for 4 years. After my partner and I broke up, I went back to the city where I grew up. I did not fit in there anymore. In 2019, I travelled to Europe and never left. Now I live in Europe on the otherside of the world. I have been to quite a few countries since then. My now partner and I have a camper van. I like having a home base, and I like having the van to get in and go. 😅 Glad you got your corn tortilla s. Tgey look delicious. I loved the last part of the video so much. The white sand and beach were beautuful. It was worth the hike to the beach. Sadie is such an incredibly smart and beautiful fur baby, in her element running free and loving exploring. It's so nice to see you both so happy and together. Thank you for showing us the sandollars and the papery shell is called a jingle. I have a vase of beautiful papery jingles in those golden pinkish colours. I really wanted to know if the beaches there had shells. I know you may not have space, but I would have been shell collecting for sure. I love drift wood, sun bleached white shells and bone, feathers, beautiful shells, pebbles and all things beach. I collected prickly cockes on the beach in Italy last year. They were prolific. I went back the next day and they were gine, the sea was rough for a few days. Dont ask me why there were lots of prickly cockles and then none. I did find beautiful pebbles, they seemed to wash up one day. Then they were gone. I guess it depends on the tides. I have learned to pick up shells when I see them and not put it off until tomorrow. Things change. 😅 That's where you will find me, at the beach and I love swimming. I have travelled in Namibia in the desert with a friend of mine many times. It is another world. I also love it. I love finding crystals. There is something freeing about looking into the horizon and open space. Last year I had a three week school holiday break. I was going to an adult school as I'm learning a new language which is German. I speak 4 languages. I am English and Italian. So yes, we drove to Italy in July/Aug in 2023. All I wanted to do was get to the beach and swim. Once summer comes, that's where my heart is pulling me. Enjoy your life, and live it to the fullest. And you are. It's beautiful to see you and Sadie living a wonderful life. ❤ Stay safe, as your last caption said you had trouble. Sending big hugs to you and Sadie. Lv from Germany 🤗👋💕

My ex-husband and I drove down the Baja with a 44-foot fifth wheel and a 1-ton dually. The roads are very narrow. Sometimes, you overlook Ravines as you're driving, and that can be quite scary. We had a great time. We came across a checkpoint and they were carrying assault rifles, we just smiled and gave them a nice cold drink because they're out in the middle of nowhere and complied with them, they wanted to search the RV, which was fine with us. Carolyn is right, take your time and just enjoy yourself. If you're not very good with Spanish, hire yourself an interpreter to go with you.

My shell funds were actually in Mexico also in 2016 after the death of my oldest son my other 2 kids and l went to Mazatlan. Today is the last day in my apartment as l start a journey to find myself. I do love all the effort and hard work you put into your videos ❤

Never in a million years would I have guessed you would have gone to Santa Rosaliita. That was where they were going to haul out sailboats to take to the Bay of LA.

Oh, wow! My condolences. The love of my life (we weren’t together) died at 55 in an auto accident a few years ago. It was difficult (to say the least). That “I alone can fix it” shit (& being an expert on EVERYTHING) told me all I needed to know! Plant: an example of the Fibonacci sequence?

That beach absolutely deserted. That would have been all I wanted. Lucky you!

I believe that asparagus plant is a Century Plant, which is an agave. Looks like there is brittlebush blooming. Those are shrines to Mary. They have a lot of those in southern AZ and NM. That looked like a wolf spider.
