wow it's great to watch several videos to help clarify everything. This video helped me see more clearly the shunting and confirmed my thought that the clamps would be placed in 2 different spots. I couldn't see that clearly on the surgery video cause there were a lot of other structures crowding it out

OMG ❗ I just went through my second Carotid Endarterectomy surgery and boy......Rough . The numbness to both sides make it uneasy even with the headaches and migraine along with the heart racing . What did I do to myself ❗❗❗❗❗😑😑

@@BLR1GBattlemaster I am about to have carotid surgery done,but I am not sure that this is the right thing to do. My artery is filled with plaque about 70 percent. I read that the mortality rate is higher when performing the surgery rather then not. i am confused. Any suggestions ,please
