What sort of bait would you tend to fish over the top of this?

Hi there, good question! If I am expecting a bite quite quickly then I will be happy to use quite a soft bait, something like bread crust or an 11mm floating pellets (softened in the same way as I talk about in the film). If I think it is going to take maybe more than five minutes to get a bite then I will normally swap over to a pop-up boilie in a similar colour to the feed (sandy brown) and cut to roughly the same size. I'll do another video at some point on floating hook baits, as I think it can make a big difference. Cheers, Paul

Do you think floating pellets are worth it or just get dog biscuits

I’ve not found a lot of difference to be honest Owen. Pellets can be fairly cheap if you buy them in bulk. I do like to use a bit of a mixture of different sizes as this will often get them feeding a bit harder and be a bit less cautious. Tight lines! Paul
