Very nice never thought this. I use slip to keep it soft. But getting to the roots is great idea.

Super. Recently I bought some plastic primer (transparent) from 🇩🇪.

Great work, I need to get some of the metallics, do you use the red stain remover first to get as much red out as possible? No comparison to the method of guys using rattle can or solvent dyes which as you noted usually don't even cover the stains well and matt up and make the carpet stiff.

I didn't remove any stains. Chose instead to show how we can cover over even the red which was previously thought not possible.

Did you need to clean the carpet before spraying the light paint coats? If so, curious what product you tried using. Thanks again for a great video! Truly appreciate it.

What psi are you using at your gun?
@a.r.t.srealrepairsforrealc82478 ай бұрын
I rarely look at the gauge but I'm thinking maybe 35psi for the deep penetration. You could lessen the pressure a bit for the overall.

Dye or paint? What exactly are you using?
@a.r.t.srealrepairsforrealc8247 Жыл бұрын
Oh yes! Here in the US the term "dye" has, through common usage among automotive people, come to mean anything coating interior parts. If you say "paint" then people think about an exterior coating. What I am using is a coating, hence, a paint. Not to be confused with an acid application that attaches to dye sites on the fiber. Smaller molecules that penetrate a substrate are usually considered dyes. I am using an interior water base paint for plastics on polyester fibers - a plastic. Or as they say in the States "dyeing the carpet". I appreciate the question!
