After a personal experience with Rob Schneider, I have a feeling that it was a conscious decision to not include him. Long story short: He did a standup set in my city a few years back and was a complete asshole to everybody. He had an ego that rivaled Jerry Seinfeld’s during the height of his career. That isn’t a knock on Seinfeld btw, Jerry managed to go from standup to becoming a household name and create an iconic sitcom; Rob Schneider rode on the back of Sandler for years, had minor mainstream success in awful comedies during the early 2000s(Hot Chick tbh is the only one I can recall minus Deuce Biggalo) then tried to go the ‘sitcom about real comedians life’ ala Seinfeld/Curb Your Enthusiam, but Real Rob was garbage. It would have made complete sense to feature him saying “You can do it” during this bit, and with Schneider on a downswing lately it seems odd that he wouldn’t jump at the chance to be on SNL again. Even for a bit cameo. My guess is they thought of the idea, knew of his personality these days, and opted not to. I can’t stress how much of an asshole he was at the Improv back in 2016.

@@EPrimeify That's a rather obscure reference from Adam Sandler's first comedy cassette tape (he had a few throughout the 90's) titled, "They're All Gonna Laugh At You"; released in 1994. The title of the cassette is also the title of one of the skits found on the album, where a family is sitting around, having dinner, and the kids keep asking the Mom for different things, only to have the mother respond, by repeatedly shouting the phrase "They're All Gonna Laugh At You!" over, and over. It's actually quite hilarious, and the entirety of this particular comedic album of Sandler's, is among his absolute best work. A must listen for fans of when Sandler was actually funny. 😊

I just saw Carrie last night for the first time in about 15 years and her mother says that with that with the same inflection as Kristen in this. You hear it when the pigs blood falls on her and it replays in her mind over and over while she looks into the crowd that are staring at her. Kristen kinda looks like Piper Laurie's character in Carrie in this skit and its a damn good impression. That must be what the 90s Sandler reference is itself referencing. Pretty cool though, I mean it doesn't make sense for Wiig to be in a Sandler sketch, they weren't even on the show at the same time, but when you put all the pieces together.
