I filled one TSA in Canada with the max amount of liquid in each container. The TSA bag was closed and I was told I have too many liquids in total. So double check the total amount of liquids you can take and downsize from there.

So just to be clear what you're saying is that you pack more than one quart sized bag with the appropriately sized individual 3.5 oz containers. And you say that having more than one of those quart-sized bags in your carry-on has never been an issue?

That's correct. You can pack more than 1 quart sized, clear toiletry bag, as long as the liquid containers that are housed inside of them do not exceed the maximum amount of ounces per container.

@@t.s.3135 The US TSA rule is (1) quart sized bag - if you don't have TSA Pre, which allows you to go through security without taking the liquids out, TSA will confiscate the excess liquids when they see two bags in the bin - with TSA Pre, unless they pull your bag for a random search you should be okay. The reality is most of the quart sized bags on Amazon are about 50% bigger than a quart, and on all our trips where one of us has had the random security luggage unpacking, they have never said anything.

Just because you have never been stopped for your liquids, doesn't make it right to not follow the rules. Entitled? It is easy to pack in one liquids bag. Challenge yourself! Best wishes.
