I'm not an avid go-kart guy or anything, I prefer modifying full size vehicles but I stumbled on this channel a few weeks ago and been catching up on all the videos and it really makes me miss my old yerfdog I had when I was younger but unfortunately it was lost in one of southern california's many wildfires years ago and I never saw it again but now the idea of building something using a 420cc or 670cc predator for my older self sounds really fun. You guys definitely gained another fan!

any single speed, old vintage 2 stroke 100cc racing engine, like a 12 pound little McCulloch kart motor ... will run circles around those roto-tiller clone motors they are playing with ... but that is what their sponsor sells, so sad.
@TheSouthdownband6 жыл бұрын
I would like to see you 2 do a build off, both start with same frames and same engines then what you do with them after that is up to you guys! could be judged on multiple scales like fastest,best looking,most creativity,ect really think it would make for a great video, and no you don't have to keep the frames or engines stock, cut,grind,weld,build,ect on them! :) keep up the great job guys!

@TheSouthdownband6 жыл бұрын
yes they did a build off but they did not use the same karts,engines,ect, i think they need to both have identical parts and see which route they take from there! gearing,engine mods,cutting and shortening or stretching frames,exhausts,ect both start with a identical built kart then go from there! :)
@TheSouthdownband6 жыл бұрын
@Eclipse538 i think so to cause it would show both of their creativity and then dont do a speed build have a few weeks so they are not rushed. Then they would be dependable and would make great for riding together like in this video. Or the ct70 bikes. Been watching these guys from the beginning and they have came a long way from where they was...

You guys should start using STA-BIL fuel stabilizer, it saves the carburetors and keeps the gas fresh for like 2 years :)
@MrTheHillfolk6 жыл бұрын
camjamsdad Not everywhere has ethanol free yet. I have to go to the next county over. But I can get avgas a lot easier. You can double dose with stabil, it does help, but star-tron is the better fuel stabilizer.
@nbowling10trio6 жыл бұрын
I always put stabil in my gas cans when I go get gas just to be safer that my equipment gonna fire up easily when I need it. Race gas has built in stabilizer from what I read if that's what cars and cameras uses. I usually always buy highest octane I can find for all my vehicles. 99%of the time I buy shell vpower for its cleaning properties,might be a waste of money but it's proven to keep engines cleaner.

Hey John and Issac..i hope yall are prepped for Florence...as for this video:..epic!!..the thing i noticed in the ccgp is Ike kept lifting..and it seems like John kept it wound up..little things make a difference when racing...as for the drifting..that was super beast mode to see ya'll tandem drifting..i think the real test for head to head would be taking them both out to the "unknown" road and side by side them from point a to point b ..set up a go pro on each end and run them all out from a to b and see who gets there first..with that same idea make sure you are both running the same sprocket ...with Florence coming in that secret racing road may get flooded ....ya'll be careful and stay safe with the storm..sendin ya'll some of these Bama stars and well wishes

Your story about the steering wheeling breaking off happened to me as well around 1992 or 1993 on my original Orange Crate cart. I was in college at the time, but my friends and I still enjoyed doing laps in that cart on occasion. I was going around a sharp bend in a parking lot putting a lot of pressure on the wheel, and spokes just snapped. I rolled out the side and the cart went over a hill.

Great as always indeed :D Would love to see a 4x4 project. Yes i have seen the AWD ;D Engine ---> Torque converter --> Jack shaft --> rear end - 2 optinons -1. chain driven differential - 2. no differential. jackshaft from TQC also drives a Magic box (90 degree PTO gearbox) with a shaft to the front with a new Magic box -- new jack shaft --> as the rear we have 2 options with, or without chain driven diff. pushrod suspension for a smooth low ride I do belive it will work.
