For the Boot you have to go to the settings of the car to Maximise to 100 so it goes all the way up 7:22

About time, thanks for printing my name on the car, I appreciate it. The hazard button is by the rear view mirror. To help potential purchasers, some points to note. The boot lid opening height can be adjusted in the infotainment system. The seats are real leather and are really comfortable. It has a phone screen sharing software called CarbitLink which is adequate. It has roughly 30% more power than the Chery tiggo 4 and 7, and jolion. I have owned the car since launch, taken it off road as well, it's a solid good car. Best car in it's segment.

I’ve had this car for over four months now and have done 5000km on it so far. Not only does it turn heads but is very fun and comfortable to drive. I love minimalistic infotainment and climate controls and find it rather easy to use. It might not have android auto but it has Car bit link screen software which makes connecting via Apple and Android phones a breeze.

@@polar3553 This car is really fast and it feels very solid with almost no engine or wind noise. I think it is probably faster then 80% of the cars on South African roads. The 130kw and 305Nn of torque is almost as fast as the latest Tiguan R line which has 162kw and 350Nm but the big difference is that Tiguan R line costs double the price of the Beijing X55.

6:47 well the hazard lights button are actually located in the ceiling of the car😅 by the way my big sister bought this car last month and i can say it is a really good looking car and the features in are actually really easy to use 10/10 in my opinion 👀✨💕😁

On the tail door , press the car icon on the top left , and go to door/window , select tail door , and move the dot to 100% open , then it will open full , the hazards are on the rear mirror section ,

Love this car. My wife bought the premium. The only downfall which i really dont understand why this feature is not present, is the front PDC does not display on either of the screens when in drive. You just hear the beep but do not know why its beeping or which side is close to an object. The only time it displays is in reverse. Does anybody have a good enough reason why this is not available, it just dont make sense especially with a car that has all the bells and whistles?

Something I've noticed on the X55 - probably a trend on other cars as well, but.... The front fender cavity - just before the front door hinge area - contains a moulded 'sponge baffle', clearly for noise reduction. To me this is a huge 'no-no"; This sponge will absorb water, rain, moisture and will be the cause of rust setting in very quickly in these two areas - left & right front. I don't know if this 'baffle' is implemented else where on the vehicle, but definitely something to be cautious of, especially if you reside along the coast! PS: Confirm during the oil service the correct grade of engine oil is used. The owners manual indicates the correct viscosity for various climatic temperature ranges. I have used 10W-40, NOT the recommended 0W-40/50, which is most likely for the colder regions of China.

With the boot on the control screen you can set to how fully you want your boot to open options are 50% 75 100%

The Hazards are at the center top where you open and close the sunroof. And also the tailgate you must set on the screen how high you want it to open, so in this car it was probably set at 80% or somthing.

Looks like a good car however I feel the fuel economy could have been better. Also having all touch controls including the volume and aircon is not very convenient, I find it quite distracting when driving. Still a great car though for the price.
