I own a XUV700 AX7 L AT for close to a year. It’s perfect combination of luxury and performance. I never thought I would buy a Mahindra but XUV 700 changed my mindset about M&M.A great car with hardly any negatives.

I work in a construction equipment MNC and our vehicles also tested in mahindra test tracks.After saw their tracks and testing methods,I choose to buy mahindra XUV over Innova. Their test drivers are amazing too

Comparing them to the Chinese brands, they lack a bit in the tech department. But they have a style of their own unlike the copycat Chinese brands.

Interesting to see Mahindra has come a long, long way.. Well, more competition in this segment down under is always good for the consumers. Hoping TATA would follow on this path and bring their vehicles to Australia as well 🇦🇺

Mahindra put their heart and soul into the development of XUV 700. They didn't compromise on performance for frugality in the 2.0 petrol engine. XUV 700 is a quality product from the Mahindra stables.

An absolute yes , yes & yes. We just neeed the Adreno X infotainment with Sat Nav, Alexa etc . At this stage its not likely to be included in vehicles here

While the petrol m-stallion is great their diesel m-hwak is a beast. It's so refined powerful and efficient. The tuning they did in Scorpio N ( rear wheel drive) is better than in XUV 700. Both cars will do well in Australian market for sure.

@@fadilrahman2157 and what will be the impact on fuel efficiency? Already people have complained of low 2 digit economy. Larger turbo will drive it down to 4-5kmpl levels. So, there is really no replacement for displacement 👍

It is definitely better than BMWX1 ,Audi Q3 and Merc GLA , XUV 700 is bigger , more powerful than mentioned rivals , it has more airbag ,ADAS level 1 which are also missing in Rivals. It is feature packed the best diesel and petrol engine globally in this price segment by Mahindra . Mahibdra would become a luxury brand soon globally

Go for scorpio N if you want 4WD, its better suited for those kind of sheningans. This is more of family wagon than an adventure tourer.

It's actually called '7 -double - almost every Mahindra vehicle name that's in production today ends with 'O'. For ex. Scorpio, Bolero, Xylo, Morazzo, 3 double O, even new Scorpio-N instead of calling it 🦂.

In India XUV700 has Four wheel drive , 4by4 engine availeble..austrelia in i think very late they provide 4by 4 engine we allready got ...my home mahindra brand suv very from allmost 30 year from no issue come with mahindra ..because they known for there engine and specially for SUVS 😍😍 many movies i see this brand suv used

@@M8YM8 Sure, the Scorpio N is not as big and not as powerful as the Prado. But the Prado is disproportionately expensive compared to how much better it is than the Scorpio N. The GXL Prado is 71% more expensive than the top-spec Scorpio N in Australia, but only slightly bigger.

They’re not some newbie manufacturer, they’ve been making SUVs for many decades and are the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volume, so they know a thing or two about making tough vehicles. Don’t put them down just because they are new to you.

Mahindra is an excellent vehicle maker for many years. It will not succeed in western markets, as the buyers have been led by the nose (by dealers) into vehicles that are three times the price. The buyers have gone along willingly into DEBT. Profit rules the market with any product!

They do flatten out on the XUV700, but not on the Scorpio. You might be confusing the two, did you go for a test drive?

@@surajhk31 what's i was conveying was, mahindra definitely worked hard and brought the quality better then the predecessor but it still haven't met the benchmark mark of Kodiaq, its actually not a bad thing because for the price they are asking for the ride quality is awesome and hands of to mahindra for bring so many first the segment features, but still they missed so many practical bits like boot light, middle seat back and forth movement, automatic IRVM, and they could have given seat ventilation instead of dual climate control and a bigger boot while using all 7 seats. And better aircon vents arrangement for back rows.

For Australians friends deciding on this car : I am from India. I own XUV700 Diesel 2.2 Litre engine producing 190 BHP power. have been using this beast since a year. let me tell you its a fantastic car. you might have few small issues but overall car is superb to drive.
