I have had the same problem. I just wasn’t programming the remote properly. Which there are a plethora of videos on how to do properly.

Do you need a special device to the programming?

Hello, I have a 2005 Mazda Rx8 and I have the same problem, the doors won't open with the remote control. It was all since they changed the air evaporator. Could that be the problem???????

If you are using a keychain led light, try turning it off. The interference could block your remote's signal

So if all power is good, and fuses are good the receiver is bad? I’ve tried for hours programming no luck, idk if it matters my radio is aftermarket.
@shaunzulu4591 Жыл бұрын
Doesnt matter if aftermarket radio. The radio security system on stock is just for the radio not the car security system

SOMETIMES CHANGING A BATTERY IS NOT THE SOLUTION for a 7th. Generation Honda Accord Key Fob not Working?... This is a possible FIX--- I went through of several agonizing days of research till I found the answer to why my HONDA ACCORD 2006 Key Fob Stopped working. ANSWER: Open the Fuse box lid INSIDE, Left of the Driver seat. The Key fob may not work because the 10 amp fuse number 7 (SEE bottom row counting from left to right.) THE FUSE IS CALLED "BACKUP" *** (That label is misleading and confusing!!!!) CHECK THAT FUSE... Mine was Blown and i replaced it with a New Fuse and The Fob functioned perfectly again. NOTE: The Fuse may appear Intact but i looked carefully with a Magnifying Glass and discovered a tiny Break at the Bottom corner. So my advice is to REPLACE the Fuse even if it looks OK.WATCH THE SECOND HALF OF THIS VIDEO... It explains it all: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4StdKZqeK6bmc0&si=G88t--AZewYCNigL : *** FYI What does the backup fuse control? The backup fuse helps us to control the maximum current in an electric circuit. The fuse wire melts and thereby breaks the continuity of a given electric circuit. This saves the electrical/electronic devices, present in that circuit, from damage and destruction by short circuits.
