2023 UPDATE. Follow exactly what he does in this video, but with the new update there is a new option in the settings under scan which is called MANAGE SONG PATH. Basically you have to click on that & chose the location from the Songs folder.

If you have the V1 version of the game (the current version), and, on the other hand, you have the typical installation, you should move your songs into this folder: "C:\Users\Jony3030\Documents\Clone Hero\Songs" without quotes.

Holy mother of pearl. I had a feeling there was something like this out there. I was absolutely addicted to GH and even more so Rock Band. I could beat all of the songs on expert guitar. Now you're telling me I can play it again for free, and even get all of the old songs for free? I'm about to cream my pants. I see that it works with drums as well? Not sure I'll be able to find a cheap drum kit but I'm definitely about to order a guitar and give this a try!

I've tried to download some files from Google drive, the Guitar Hero Metallica, Smash Hits and Warriors of Rock songs specifically but I always get a message about it being watched or downloaded by too many people and tells me to wait 24 hours before trying again but I've waited for 48 hours and nada, nothing changes, I wanted to know if you can help me out please! if there's something you suggest me to do I'll do it.

Hit return(enter) which brings up the guest and then hit A on the keyboard which works as select and s works as a go back button. to go up and down, use the arrow keys

Thank god he gave a link to 7 zip not winrar. The difference is with winrar, you have to pay to use the program legally. But with 7 zip, it’s free. (Btw I have had clone hero for a while. This is the most descriptive video I have found so far that teach people how to download the game)
