Thanks for a great run-through man. You did a great job and I rewatched a couple sections and saved in my YT Maverick folder. I already connected the 2nd day to Wi-Fi and automatic updates. Loving my Lariat - was going to get an XLT but the backup cam stop-sale hit - so it all worked out ha.

Glad the video helped! Man.. I just had someone else comment on one of my videos that there's is being held up because of that stop sale as well. His works fine but the dealership can't release it until the fix is done. Ah well. Is it the first time that you've owned a Ford truck?

Waited 2 years for my lariat. Just got it today. How does this vehicle/trim not have wireless CarPlay.

Wow, what a wait! It's because the infotainment is Ford's last gen Sync3 system that doesn't support wireless. The Maverick should have a refresh by 2026 with an updated screen but it won't be backwards compatible

Yeah sure, it's got so much technology I have to keep a trickle charger on it all the time I'm not driving so the battery State of Charge doesn't tell me I need to go for a drive to help the battery charge up. I wish there was a way to disable most of it so I would just have a nice driving front wheel drive truck!

A lot of hybrids are like that but curious.. how long does yours sit before you run into any sort of issue with the battery?

I saw that too after getting my Lariat. It seems like it sat at the dealer for a while but I’ve been driving a few short trips and haven’t seen that again. Good luck and enjoy your great truck!

My Ford mechanic has told me that Ford is coming out with fix early in next year. I hope he is right, my First Edition has been on a trickle charger for over a year. I’ve had back surgery and can’t drive much.

Does my 2022 lariat hybrid have navigation? I have to connect my phone usb C toget maps.

The 2022 F150 introduced connected navigation with 30 days or 3 years of included service so you should at least see the navigation tab at the bottom. You need an active subscription set up through the FordPass phone app to use it after the trial period though or you can just hook up your phone to use maps that way instead

Hi just bought my 2024 maverick how the hell do I hook up my old school iPod it doesn’t work I have 4000 songs on it I don’t use my iPhone for music please help thank you am learning a lot 👍👍

Not all USB devices are compatible unfortunately.. if you're plugging in using a USB data transfer cable and it won't play it may be too old to be supported

Had a 2022 Maverick for a while now. The infotainment is junk. It randomly decides whether or not to connect to your phone. No rhyme or reason. A 100$ deck from Walmart doesn’t do this. How is it FORD can’t get something so basic right?

Don't hear about connectivity issues that often. Are you having issues with bluetooth or CarPlay/Android Auto?
