Its not just an ANC problem, its a South African culture problem. While government is to be held accountable, there are many private companies that once a tender/ contract is won, they see at as their time to milk the system because everyone else is doing it. They often inflate prices to quadruple the prices of simple things. So while CEO's, politicians, and provincial administrative staff should be held accountable, the private sector should also be held accountable. politicians and the private companies should both be harshly punished

However, you fail to acknowledge that the vast majority of Tender awards go straight to Corrupt Criminal Enterprise ANC affiliates, hidden behind a veil of private sector. My brother is an 'INMATE' previously at Cullinan sorg & rehabilitation center..closed by Cart Blanche expose .... eventually ended up at Kirkwood..last year a broken femur with no explanation and a few weeks in hospital. Would like a surprise visit to see how they are really treated ...locked away with not much activity or stimulation .looking very frail ,thin and under nourished with very little medical care .when we saw him in Dec his feel were severely swollen /odema and said it had been like that for months without any intervention or medical care . His teeth are all rotten and is highly medicated

While we here, I suspect something similar is happening with the Naledi Clinic in Soweto in ext. 2. We have a small container services a rather large population and often staff is often overwhelmed.

I can see both sides of the story. I think it would be difficult to carry on a hospitals duties after attacks on a sub station supplying electricity. That would lower morale for me if I were working there. People have to realize that when you are in a desperate situation you will probably make mistakes. In other words if you put a sheep in a cage with a very hungry wolf, don't be surprised if the sheep gets eaten. But I also see the side of the people funding the hospital. They're wary of paying for services and material not being rendered. Well it's going to take a lot more than what they're offering to fix a broken system. I think they need to be in it for the long haul and focus on incremental gains, not monumental losses if they want to be successful. You sometimes hear people supporting a cause say, "if I can just help one person then it's worth it." That is the kind of attitude that is needed to not slip into no progress at all. Just my honest opinion on the matter.❤🎉
