90's - we ventured out with mates mid-week mixed with those older than us, laughed and smoked, bought cigs from pull-out drawers, Johnny's in Ferrari boxes, smoked at our tables, went to work the following day... soon is Friday, Saturday and Sunday... then look up because we had quiz on Tuesday, pool on Wenesday, music quiz on Thursday and then....... Friday, Saturday and Sunday.... repeat....... 90's, what a great time to be alive😂

You are never. And I'll repeat that, you are never alone. Look after yourselves and party like its the 90's still! 😎

Jim bob was a masterfull song writer and although he got great success but could have been bigger but was only on TOTP very seldom and same with the Radio to a few of his big hits. I was 15 when i came accoss Carter and im 45 now. For me he never wrote a bad song and i also was a member of Carters fan group. So underestimated this Band in everyway possible.

@@darrengadd5050 So, Klaus Barbie was a nazi war criminal nicknamed "The Butcher of Lyon." After WW2 he was protected and employed by American and German intelligence services as an anti-communist agent. As Sherriff Fatman has a number of false identities, he has "more aliases than Klaus Barbie." Leigh-on-Sea is a British seaside town where Fatman operates, the "Butcher of Leigh on Sea" being a play on words for the Butcher of Lyon.

NFA's were no fixed aboders, the Prince of Wales Enterprise Allowance Scheme was the latest initiative and we signed up many people to it. Job was shite, but by god the music of the era was amazeballs. Happy Days! 🤪 x

Was chatting with some adults in their mid-30s yesterday - they'd never heard of Carter or Sheriff Fatman! What are kids today being taught?!

This song reminds me of when I worked at The Marquee club in the early nineties...I feel old! Great tune though!

I would swap 3 Carter songs for U2s entire back catalogue. Fantastic band who captured a time and burned bright.

I'd swap U2's entire back catalogue for a haemhorroid operation and feel I'd made a profit LOL. But you're right: Carter were excellent!
