The only issue is the "shared knowledge" bit. When Goten and Trunks were asked how they felt being fused, they said they had no idea - they couldn't remember. Gotenks/Vegito/Gogeta DO possess the shared knowledge of the people they are fused from, but the people who fused don't take the Fusion's memory with them. Unless this has since been retconned.

One thing which did change was. Goten and Trunks aren't as reliant on fusion anymore, which presents a chance that they would work on themselves individually and would become waay stronger than they are in the current canon. And the fusion will also not give them a bloated ego into their individual characteristics which will Allow them to progress quicker in their training. This would open up possibilities of goku and vegeta actually taking interest in training their kids and making them stronger. Which would give a chance for them to attain god ki and other amazing powers.

I think theirs still some stuff to discuss here. Gohan has his ultimate form and I'm sure Goku would want to spar with him to try it out. As for the kids since all of the crazy buu stuff got wrapped up I can see them getting their training doubled down on especially with Goku and Goten. I think Gohan would suggest that they go into the time chamber to make up for lost time and train. This way Goten gets stronger and maybe learns some new techniques

You should do "what if Gohan turned super Saiyan while fighting frieza?". The way this would work would be this: Gohan, krillin, and Vegeta on namek are fighting frieza after he transforms into his second form, then piccolo arrives. The fight with frieza and piccolo go smoothly and nothing has changed from the original, until frieza transforms again. This time frieza actually KILLS piccolo instead of just shooting him, and this enrages Gohan. This enrages Gohan so much to the point where it makes Gohan explode with anger. And this is what triggers Gohan's super Saiyan transformation.

Wouldn't Hercule go off to fight Buu anyways? He wasn't really effected by anything the Z-fighters did in the original timeline. At boring, he just gets killed by Buu & Babidi and is revived in a year when both sets of dragon balls restore their power At best, he gives Buu the idea that he shouldn't listen to Babidi only deepening the two's connection At worst, when he does get Buu to be friends with him, Babidi kills Hercule to get Buu to listen to him, Buu unleashes Evil Buu, the two create Super Buu, Super buu eats Babidi giving Buu extra magical power & the ability to control Vegeta as Super Buu at this point would be much stronger than Vegeta. Thus limiting the two from fusing. And leading to a much darker timeline.

I think the fight between Vegito and Zamasu would be different because Goku and Vegeta would probably use both fusions against him back to back and a Final Kamehameha, Big Bang Kamehameha or Stardust Breaker would have a similar effect to Trunks's Spirit Sword. Either that or Vegeta would remember the seal for the Mafuba because he'd have shared a mind with Goku. Gogeta or Vegito could easily beat the living hell out of Zamasu and trap him in the container. He'd still be immortal but he couldn't escape so Goku would probably take it to Beerus and Whis, who'd probably take it to the Grand Priest and Zeno would eventually erase Zamasu with ease. There'd be no changes to Trunks's timeline so there'd be only one Zeno in each timeline. The Tournament of Power would happen pretty much the same way except maybe Vegeta and Goku could fuse into Gogeta to defeat Jiren after failing to do so when they attacked tigetger in SSj Blue Kaioh Ken and SSj Blue Evolution forms. SSj Blue Gogeta would be stronger than Jiren but he might have to try hard once Jiren went 100% and the fusion might run out of time, but likely Gogeta would have done a lot of damage and Jiren would be weakened, almost to the point he was when Goku and Frieza pushed him out, but Goku and Vegeta would have more energy, enough to put up a fight with help from Frieza and Android 17 and run the clock. Jiren could eliminate one or two of them but he could not beat them all, so even if time was up and he was still standing, there'd be two people from Goku's team standing as well, therefore they'd win.

10:49 There's no information or evidence anywhere suggesting that the fusion dance can last longer with the same strength than the potara fusion. We don't know how long Gogeta vs Broly or Vegito vs Zamasu both lasted other than the fact that the Vegito fight was under an hour and Gogeta's was under 30 minutes. Screen time isn't a good argument either because it's incredibly inconsistent in DB and even if it was they both had about the same screen time. The Zamasu fight would have ended the same except the fight would have been a little less one sided.

I agree with Dende not being able to remove Babadi's spell, but I don't get why your explanation made it seem as if the Majin Mark was the result of an injury and was just unable to be healed. If Babadi dies his magic can't just keep itself going; similar to Krillin and Piccolo being restored from statues when Dabura dies, wouldn't Babadi's death mean that all his Majin Mark spells break on the spot? Also it just seems like unnecessary padding to have Goku and Vegeta training to use Fusion while being Super Saiyans; especially since that would just drain the time they had Fused if they did it while transformed. There's literally nothing stopping Gogeta from just turning SSJ himself in an instant, it's not like it would be anything approaching hard, and the power realistically shouldn't be any different if he starts in base or SSJ.
