Agree the fiesta zetec s is a future classic car. Don’t see many about these days. I had a Mondeo zetec s saloon 2.5 v6 with 73k and had to scrap it for corrosion. How many left said only 4 left on the road. Wishing I kept it now

The only thing I didn't like about general public being aloud to bid is ,,as a traider you bid to make a profit which normally means a car will hit a limit ,when you get a couple of general public in the auction ,all they see is the retail price so if they get a motor £200 cheaper than its retail value there buzzing ,which turns a car which normally go for a grand go for double

If that fiesta was a little diesel zs 1500 would be good money. Recently sold an 08 diesel zetec s on 90k for 2250. Friend then got paid out 3.5k by insurance as that was cheapest one to buy to replace condition and mileage wise!

The mk6 iFiesta ST is a future classic, but not the Zetec S. It was only popular because of insurance beong affordable for younger drivers who wanted a nippy car. That Civic...what a mess. The online winner will think it's had a crash after the pictures were taken 😂 That Focus you got a good deal there, that'll shift easy.

Love the auction videos, I'd love to buy a cheapie there as a project one day. I had an R56 Mini, very troublesome and I ended up selling it it spares and repairs a couple of years ago with a cooling system issue for £500 so £375 is very cheap indeed, nice one. Plus as you say they are quite desirable.

If its around 300-400 to fix the current engine we will go with that option, replacing the engine is a time consuming process and then we will no doubt need spend money on the new engine. We will see in the video which I am working on and should be coming out in the next couple of weeks

Over here in Canada, my nephew recently bought a 2006 BMW 325 with 220K kms for $4000 private sale cash sta couple of years in garage unused, had been asking $5,000, after his 2001 Audi died, breaks and head gasket failures, I thought that he did quite well as it needed next to nothing to safety and people in general were asking a fair bit for old clunkers, like a lot for rolling piles of junk. It really seems to me that your wholesale prices are a pretty good deal, plus our older cars tend to have way more rust on them than I was seeing in your auction.

The auctioneer's sound distortion is horrible, they need bigger more sensitive speakers and the amplifier is clipping badly, not enough watts or it's a 100v line system. Nice car auction video anyway :)

I’ve learned my lesson with a Scottish car, 2007 fiesta diesel, 55k miles when purchased in 2018, now on 84k. One previous owner from new but lived near Glasgow or Dundee and it’s crusty as hell underneath. Prior one I had which was written off was 158k and same year but lived in Cumbria and then Yorkshire, night and day difference for corrosion. Some easy jobs I’ll have a go at but all the corrosion on the prior mentioned one makes loosening nuts a bit harder work.

Aston barclay will sell them for free essentially but they get paid from the buyers as we pay a buyers fee on every car you win.

Sitting here in North America and watching this my reaction is, those cars are dirt cheap or I really have no idea what a pound is worth. I easily pay a couple of thosands dollars - so over a thousand pounds if I understand correctly - to keep my old beaters on the road at times, and you guys are essentially payig the price of a major brake job for your old cars! Also, your cars are really tiny , cute but how do you fit all your gear and people in those little wee things?

Hi peter, the £1 is around $1.25c currently, cars in the UK are cheap compared to the US, but we do have corrosion to deal with so they dont last as long as many cars is dry states would in the US. We do have big cars too 😁we are not against a big pick up truck or a range rover, Thanks for watching 👍👍

Yes roughly around 25% less but it can vary, there comes a point when you get to 300-500 cars that it makes no difference really

Great format on these auctions. Does it effect a cars sale price where it comes out in auction? Looks like more interest on the first ones than last. Yeah the Zetec S will be a classic as these were cheaper than the ST to run so youngsters had one. I know someone that has put one of those ST500 away and this depletes the car pool and increases the value of the market. Self perpetuating unfortunately.
