Carving Scared Goblin - Halloween Whittling Project

I came across one drawing with scared goblin and because Halloween is coming, I thought this can be good project for this occasion. So I started to play with the piece of basswood and made this step by step video about how to carve scared goblin for Halloween.
Wood carving and whittling is nice hobby especially for long evenings by the radio. I wish you good luck with carving this little scared goblin figure.

Thanks for letting me know mate. I know that some people are lost without numbers and geometry so I do it this way. Plus I was struggling with the step by step picture tutorials from books. So I try to be as clear as possible.

I love your videos- it would be great if you showed what you are doing on the finished figure as your working on new one. Also if you turned one of your finished figures sideways so we can compare.

I love your teaching. so dont get me wrong. but for a new carver, I got lost. in the videos you can not see if your in the front working or the back. would be so help for if you said front or back. or just large side or small. I just made mine backwards. when you drew the line and had us remove the wood for the elbow I was fine. but could not tell on the other side how much to remove.. you just took your pencil and scribbled... but on video it looked half way across. and found out that was to much. so any little tips are good for the new carvers... and I do love your lessons, and cant wait till I am able to understand better.

Thank you for this constructive comment! I will keep an eye on it and try to be more clear. Sometime I lost myself in it as well or get too much excited and dont think about showing it clearly.. It is not that easy to keep an eye on everything :) but I really appreciate comments like these! Helps me to improve.

The face and hands reminded me of Der Schrei der Natur (The Scream, by Edvard Munch). I'm going to try and carve one like that. Very nicely done, and a very easy to follow video for me.
