This is the best true crime program there is right now. Better than any show on TV and any other podcast. Big ups, Casefile

I would mention that reading the comments before attending the podcast will ruin the experience. Sad story......very sad....... Thank you Casefile! First class, as always!

The Armstrong scholars program .... awesome legacy to such a tragic event. That’s great that she lives on

No not really. Sounds like a sexist program to me. I bet if there was a white only program that would be seen as disgusting but hey it's great to discriminate against people who have a penis

My goodness this horrible crime gives me chills. I had heard it before in some reenactment film and it perked my interest because of Stephen. But it also was annoying because it seems if they had investigated better they could have find it was stayner that did it and saved the next girls life. I mean all the mental who worked there should have been investigated and given lie detective tests.

He threw the police off with things he learned from true crime shows. The cliche actually holds some truth I guess.

Very good videos- well done. I’ve never felt that all these different suspects were innocent. The whole story is not complete. All those Modesto criminals. Sounds like there was so many more involved.

Did you know stayner was the brother of that lad that was kidnapped Steven stayner - and stevens kidnapper got a little boy called Timmy so Steven decided to set them both free and run off with Timmy and found help - he died in a motorbike crash :( but yeah this is his brother cary Edit he mentioned this

Yes, what a family. One son suffers so much, and yet shows heroism saving a little kid... The other son seems like a born psychopath. After all of that Timmy became an accomplished cop but died young from pulmonary embolism. Yet the molester Parnell lived to a ripe old age. You can't make this shit up :(
