Respected Dr. Sreekrishnan T P, Q) *Role of Morphine in case of Cyanotic spells*: In case of Cyanotic spells, seen in Congenital Heart Diseases like Tetralogy of Fallot; *Hypoxia can induce Tachypnea*, which can reduce systemic vascular resistance (inturn increasing shunt of deoxygenated blood from right to left chambers of heart), thereby *worsening Cyanosis*. Morphine when used in this case, the *Respiratory depression and Sedative effect* (can reduce agitation) of Morphine can help in symptomatic relief in the infant/child.
