I go against societal norms by going without shoes except at work and on my bike. I hate shoes and I don't give a f*ck what people think.

+Quentin F actually no, shoes are over cushioned which causes our feet to hit the ground harder, which causes more damage to joints. Many runners are plagued with joint and muscle issues, but many people have switched to BF running and report reduced or even disappearing problems after properly transitioning. I don't run, I just prefer being able to feel the ground I'm walking on. The sensory input is amazing. Shoes are tools, I only use them when needed, and I don't need them very often.

I'm an identical twin and have been spat at, beaten up and made fun of in small town England - it got that serious. I know bullies and judgmental people - it's my experience. I agree - crush them but with love and total detachment if we can. That always gets em....Not easy though I have suffered the deepest and darkest depressions as a result of the bully.
