🙋🏼‍♀️Hi Jackie, when it comes to the balloon making kit “ You were doing it wrong”. I realize the company probably didn’t mention in the instructions but if you attach a string to the largest item in the balloon you can suspend it in the middle of the balloon. As for being able to see through the balloon better. You needed to rub the outside of the balloon with some water or some kind of oil to clean off the powder residue that is used on the balloon when it is made in order to keep the latex from sticking to itself. For this reason I believe it is worth your cash.

I got a similar window art kit a few years ago, and I recommend using tooth picks to get in all the little spots and add details, also the paint dries mostly clear and see-through so it’s ok if you get some on the black lines or tiny details (such as the eyes of the butterfly)

I used to love those suncatcher projects because they were cheap so we could always get a lot of them, and the paint works on any brand's base pieces. It's cool that this kit gives you the DIY sheets too, I remember that being a separate kit back in the day.

I had to show this one to my daughters. Walmart used to do something like the stuffaloon in the 90's and the last one I seen made was in 2012 or 2013. Wow! I'm a very seasoned grain. A lot of Walmarts quit because customers would come, customize them and then suffer sticker shock at the register. They do last a really long time. I had a cousin have one for over 10 years. I'm certain that the cheaper none industrial version would last.

I had a decorative balloon kit that worked and was super easy to use when I was like 8. (26 years ago) Could actually use it to put a whole stuffed animal in the balloon too unlike this one. Loved that thing. I wonder if it is still available. That would be a much better alternative to this trash one.

I noticed her hair in a previous video, and I think it's probably the best of all the videos I've seen. I understand Jackie's fear of balloons. I was like that as a kid, but I outgrew it. I remember being at a party with teenagers sitting on balloons and popping them. I was aghast they could do that. It totally freaked me out! When I was a kid, there was a man with a cart of balloons and they would be transparent and have little bears in them. They were so cute, and a couple of bucks. So I think I’d try the balloon kit. That’s probably as clear as the balloon is gonna get because it has to be a little thick so it wouldn’t pop easily.

I’m just here to say that I also have a phobia of popping balloons. I hate them more than most anything. One time I was dating a guy, and he thought it would be super cute to leave sweet messages inside balloons that I had to pop to read them all over my apartment while I was at work.
