The 2 shower rods are there so that one is for a shower curtain liner & then one for the decorative curtain. So if you have a crazy expensive curtain- the liner keeps the water in & protects the main curtain.❤
@kathyflorcruz552
@kathyflorcruz552 Жыл бұрын
Odd. Most people hang both on the same rod.
@femmebrulee5053
@femmebrulee5053 Жыл бұрын
@@kathyflorcruz552 It depends on what type of hanging/connectors are at the top of the curtains. I have several decorative shower curtains which are hung through a pocket at the top of the curtain which requires sliding the curtain onto the rod. If you have those types of shower curtains you cannot use a shower liner that is hung with hooks on the same rod. You have to use a different rod.

Why would ANYONE buy a crazy expensive shower curtain that they dont want getting wet...? Sounds like flawed thinkin, but im just a normal common sense kinda guy.

New York will never cease to amaze me. The first apartment is literally a basic apartment. Nothing fancy or luxurious about it and it’s $6k a month. @louisejohnson6057

It would cost a similar price regardless because the square footage would be the same, just utilized differently. Multiple bedrooms means that families with children can live there, or that it could be a roommate situation. So that means everyone pays less money per month to live in a great part of NYC. The Village is safe, clean(for a city), convenient, and there's plenty to do. If I ever lost my mind and moved to the States, and found myself in NYC, and making a decent salary, and if the idea of living with roommates didn't make me want to vomit, I'd be signing on the dotted line ASAP.

The bedroom with the ensuite in the first apartment is really small, but I'd take it over the other two. The second apartment? $4,400 for a studio is pricey, even if it does have a new toilet seat. ;-) The third one? It has clean windows, so that may explain the price. Although the last one obviously used to be a studio, I like it the best. For all of these, you pay double the value for the address.

I just have to say that just because the kitchen cabinets don't go all the way up does not make them better than those that do for shorter people. If you can't reach higher than the top shelf in full-height cabinets, then don't put anything on the top shelf and avoid having that open space above that gets all dusty with spider webs and roach and mice droppings that nobody ever cleans. You can always put stuff on the that top shelf that you don't use often.

I'm so happy I'm not constantly poor anymore.
