I came across this video today. This townhouse looks like it is being restored very nicely. Everything I have seen seems to be of high grade quality and it is all beautifully done. I'm sure it's probably finished and rented by now. This would be an ideal house for a close knit family that gets along well. The biggest family would live on the first floor and subsequent relatives could live on the upper floors. I realize that the rent is outrageous, but I bet there are those out there in NYC that could afford to rent it. I just hope that whomever does live there will take care of all the lovely fixtures and upgrades that were installed. On another note, Cash is always so entertaining to watch. He has a wonderful sense of humor and keeps me interested to the end of the video. Kudos to Cash!

Very cool place. Love that there are two laundries in case of au pair, tenant, or guest in the basement. Love all of the details. At that amount a month for rent, I would investigate buying the townhouse rather than renting it or buying something similar elsewhere. At a certain point, high rent become ridiculous.

We ranched and lived in a 1920's field stone house we lived in a used 60's trailer type manufactured home recarpeted and sold with 2 bunkbeds while remodeling the first year, 1974...it had an addition at lower levels and the 4 girls shared 4 bedroom and one bath,,,the curling irons fight level in old part and all were different sizes but about the same closet size,,,I keep thinking of these unique wonderful spaces we shared...we got along the best in that trailer..all was new and wonderful to dad. Your places...especially the townhouses..just blow me away. Amazing and wonderful. With modern and old touches.

Cash, me I love New York , and I really must laugh when I read all the people's comments, writing they have no interest in living in New York. You have to have an increasingly huge pocketbook just to be comfortable there, and I think that's the thing that intimidates people. Having lived there as a child and then again with my husband on Franklin Street, which was just a bunch of gnarly lofts at the time. From both vantage points it was an exillerating experience I'd go back to New York oh yes! There is no city in this country to compare but you gotta have "cash" ha ha ha no pun intended.
