I have the T200, S5000 Manta, and the P2000 Cachalot. All three are magnificent watches. My Seikos are getting much less wrist time anymore. The Zuratsu polishing lives up to its hype. The overall finishing on these watches puts them up there with watches costing thousands more dollars.

I have one of these and it is a consistent "go to" in my collection. I live in north America so I get the Atomic Clock signal making this a watch I know is always right. With full links, half links and the micro-adjust on the clasp means you should be able to get the right fit on the bracelet. The light weight titanium case, an easy uncomplicated watch face and 100 meters of water resistance make this watch pretty darn close to being a GADA watch for me.

You should check out the Casino Lineage line, especially the LCW-M100TSE-1AJF. Titanium everything, sapphire coated glass, solar, connects to radio so it's perfectly on time, and it looks great (to me).

Yes agreed. I bought a Casio Lineage LIW-M700 that has the exact same synch functions as the Oceanus line. Also sapphire, stainless, chrono, perpetual calendar, countdown timer, etc… all for $220. I love my Oceanus T200 still, but this JDM Lineage watch is an amazing value.

This one shoved my Tissot PRX auto out of the watchbox and out the door to a new owner. Lighter, (much) more accurate and wearable. I'm in Colorado, so I get the radio signal from Ft. Collins like, uh, clockwork. If the watch was heavier, I'd complain about the integrated bracelet. But straps on titanium just feel weird and IB's are all the rage now anyway. And with half links, I get a perfect fit with the 2 adjustment holes. Great review Jody.

This was my first JDM purchase. I had just started collecting and didn't know a lot about watches at the time. I liked the look of it and the feature set was pretty impressive. @@apeekintime the problem is that the S100 is not designed as a watch with an integrated bracelet! it basically just has the middle part of a normal end link attached to the watch. if it had a design that incorporated an integrated design instead of splitting an endlink for what is presumably a technical limitation, i don’t think people would care nearly as much.

I just sold mine, coincidentally around July through my watchmaker/friend on EBay. I loved the watch, it was super accurate (I got the radio signal here in the states), looked dressy yet sporty and was comfortable as you mentioned. So why did I sell it? Well, it was almost the perfect daily wear watch, but in a collection of (at the time) 15 other watches it got lost in the mix and maybe saw wrist time every other week. I decided to sell it and a few other watches and use that money to finance a Longines Zulu time. Interestingly enough, I sold it for about what I paid for it, so it retained its value nicely over the year or so I had it….

Hi been watching your videos on KZbin and the first one I saw was of the Casio Oceanus ocw t200 3AJF when I saw this watch I absolutely fell in love with it and started looking for that model last year mid last year. Eventually I was looking on eBay and I found the blue version 200 I ended up having to bid for it and pay £200 for it. It had a couple of marks but not on the crystal and it came. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the spot was gutted that I couldn’t find the green version it came to the end of the year and I gave up trying to find one eventually the website you suggested at the end of the year I happen to look on it and found one and I bought it straight away, hoping that nothing would go wrong. The shipping to England it came I unboxed it and it was an absolute mint condition. No marks the glasses is absolutely stunning on the green one and I’ve just put a bid in on eBay for the S hundred which is the one you bought last which will be my last one of these watches 10 on KZbin has made me a Watch collector. I know three Casio’s one fossil and a Seiko quartz i’ve bought on eBay as well don’t think people realise how good they are these watches from Casio I will never ever get rid of these watches. Thank you for the advice. I hope you get this message. Thank you.

I still think the T200 is the best of the Oceanus line. I now own the light blue dial with the cool blue crystal and the new green one just came in last week. I think I'd be satisfied with a whole collection of Oceanus and maybe one or two good mechanicals. Managed to pick both mine up off a Japanese eBay seller for around $335 brand new.

One of my favorite watches. Everyone needs a nice grab and go atomic quartz for when all the mechanical watches are dead. Jody is right tht the Crystal is a smudge magnet. Titanium case is great, changing time zones is super easy. My biggest gripe is my seconds hand is just a little bit off alignment. Second grip is no quick adjust bracelet. But overall, superb watch.

Thanks Jodi! Here in south Florida the radio signal for the atomic clock, WWVB, is fringe reception. I haven’t tried an Oceanus but the Casio watches I’ve tried have trouble receiving WWVB. Citizen watches usually receive it. Maybe the Oceanus is better.

This is off topic but I live in Davie and just learned that there's a microbrand watch company based in Deerfield Beach, called Aragorn, which makes large (to very large) dive watches. That's not necessarily my cup of tea, but they are insanely well priced for the specs. And they're local! (I haven't actually been over there yet. But they have some of their watches reviewed on KZbin. Though it would be great if JOMW reviewed one of 'em.)

Blue indices absolutely not appearing so blue in reality. So light, confort and perfect fit. My only quartz within more than 30 units owned and in my top 3 time wrist among my beloved Longines silver arrow and weems heritage chrono. The perfect set and forget watch when you are late the morning and the one you use to adjust your automatic or mechanical watches. And yes I hate quartz in general but…..love this little one. Oceanus line put to shame every seiko at the same price level ( except design heritage of course). But remember buying one you will loose some wrist time for the others if you have a 6,5 to 7 inches wrist 😬
