This model is just what I’m looking for in so many ways in that it doesn’t compromise much just because it’s smaller. Convenient weight for towing, wet bath/toilet, fiberglass construction and lots of storage. Thanks for the vid Olivia.

I have to tell you the biggest part of me watching your video other than the amazing tour of your Casita is having your fur baby inside. Lol I have my Lab I was wondering the room with him in there. This was perfect!! Thank you 🥰 🐾

I've had a Casita for about 4-5 yrs. Traveled all over the USA - easy to tow, maneuver, etc. Re-sale isn't bad when the time comes to give it up. Just kind of claustrophobic for some people - not a lot of room.
@OliviaFarabaugh
@OliviaFarabaugh 4 жыл бұрын
That is super awesome!! I could see that if you have a lot of people. It works great for my husband and I and our dog but probably not a great choice if your claustrophobic! Thank you for watching and for the comment!!

You should describe the fridge size by how many cans of beer it fits really. Thats the main thing im interested in. Will a bottle of liqueur fit in the freezer? Also the weight of it would be nice so we k now if our vehicle can pull it.

If you really wanted to bake or fry foods and have no oven, you could get an air fryer to do baking or frying for one or two people. In addition, an Instant Pot with proper accessory inserts can allow you to bake too. Have safe travels! Love the Casita 17 foot trailers!

Hi Sean, I'm so sorry i missed your comment earlier! Im so glad you enjoyed my video. I really appreciate your support! I did just want to update you on some recent findings and experiences we had with our Casita incase you were still considering one for yourself! We unfortunately have had two issues regarding water with our Casita. The first issue we did make one video to raise awareness incase anyone else was experiencing issues with their Casita. I have that video below: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZKwYahuitqWh5Y Since the making of that video above, we have now had a water issue with our new 2021 camper. We will be posting an updated video in the near future with details but unfortunately we are no longer adventuring with our Casita. The company was incredibly kind and gave us a full refund. Because the problem was water related again and my health issues with CIRS, we felt that the best decision was to part ways with our Casita. It absolutely broke our hearts but we just felt thats what was best for my health. If you do finalize your plans to go with a Casita I would just keep a keen eye for any issues regarding water within the first year while you are under warrantee. This second issue we believe could have truly been condensation because it was different than the first time when the water was only on the bottom half of the wall. Im not sure if they changed the type of adhesive that they put the carpet on with or what happened there. This time as I investigated, it was soaked the whole way up to the ceiling. If you do decide to get a Casita the places to monitor closely would be under the benches of the small dinette where the wall and floor meet. Both the first and second time water was building up at that seam and you could feel the carpet was damp. When we lifted the carpet we could then see the water soaking up onto a paper towel. The other spot is in the closet. Again i would check on the ground where the carpet meets the flooring. If there is any damp feeling there i would then investigate by putting a paper towel between the fiberglass and the carpet. Im sorry to bring you this downer news as i know how incredibly exciting it is to start this adventure. Again I would just keep an eye for any issues regarding water within the first year while you are under warrantee. If you do have any issues i would speak with Timmothy Lang right away. I wish you all the best in you journey! Thank you again for your support!!

hi Olivia, looks like a blast. i am researching RV's and was wondering how tall is the bathroom for showering , I am 6 ft 1inch tall so just wondering. i know the scamp trailers a little lower than that. thanks and continue to have a blast.

Thank you so much watching! So my husband is 6 foot and the bathroom ceiling is a bit tight. He finds more comfortable to sit while showering. It is defiantly doable but just depends on what your comfortable with! I hope you have success in your camper hunting! We really love our casita overall!!

How long did you have to wait for delivery after putting your deposit down? As I write this in early January, 2022, Casita told me that I could expect delivery of a new Independence Deluxe on about June or July of 2023. Happy Trails

@@OliviaFarabaugh Hi Olivia: I live in Calif and I just retired and plan to start bird hunting in different states. My first comment and question is - what type of dog do you have? He is beautiful!!!. My second question is - are these trailers built for cold weather? I plan to go to Montana, Idaho and other states that might be cold.

visit the Casita site for layouts - I believe the LD has swivel captains chairs. SD has a small dinette that converts to a single wide/narrow bed.
@ronclark9724
@ronclark9724 4 жыл бұрын
The Liberty has twin beds with no small dinette, it is more like a bench. The Independence has wider twin beds with no dinette, but a smaller aisle of the Liberty. The Freedom has the swivel chairs and a small table. She bought the Spirit with the double bed like the Freedom but with the small dinette... All of the deluxe models can have their beds switched over to the larger dinette. All of the deluxe models have the forward bath room, and all of the standard models come without the forward bath and closet and have a coach which can be switched to bunks for children. There is space under that coach/bunks for a portable potty. With a lot of kids the standard models would be better if you don't mind doing a sponge bath inside or shower outside. Singles and couples usually order the forward bath room. Families vary...
