The idea of that hair bands you showed is to move around the scalp to cover it all, including the back. I actually think those much more interesting, because it has "teeth" to separate the hair, end then get the light on the scalp, rather then the hair (for people who still have plenty of hair this is an issue). Also, they cover the sides of the scalp, where I have a lot of hair thinning. And thos those hair caps do not cover that.

I invested in the Omni Lux red light mask, that was a healthy price tag also… didn’t purchase the neck mask nor the hand mask. I use the Omni Lux for all as it is flexible. And for about a month now have been using it on the top of my head !!!! Sure it’s not a helmet but the fact that it’s still the correct amount of red and infrared…. Less $$ that I have to spend!! FYI, HSA accounts are only available to people who have a HDHP (High Deductible Health Plan). If you’re not sure if you have one, call your insurance company. Also, you can pay for similar medical expenses (sunscreen and probably the iRestore), using money from an FSA account, if you don’t subscribe to a HDHP.

I just started the Elite, and each time I wear it, the itching and burning is worse. I also started oral minoxidil, which I think is making me sensitive. The company states you can use both, though. The guide states you need to wear it on clean, dry hair with no product. I wonder if my conditioner was a problem or my topical minoxidil, even though it was dried. Did you have any product in your hair or take minoxidil with it?

Cassandra! Fellow Esthetician here. Thank you for another great video - I am a mega fan!! Interesting and stupidly long anecdote re biotin, but hang on for the ride… I promise it’s worth it: I hopped on the “biotin bandwagon” ages ago in, not necessarily because of hair growth concerns - I chocked up my thinning hair to the stress of all those back-to-back-bikini waxes in esthi school clinic, lol, when you know you know, and I know you know - but took biotin as an experiment - WHOAHHH DID BIOTIN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MY HAIR GROWTH. But my hair thinning didn’t bother me enough to continue taking it, and AS SOON AS I STOPPED TAKING BIOTIN I LOST THE HAIR I HAD GROWN. It had worked so well though, that my hair stylist and I proselytized it for YEARS (fun fact: so did Dr. Dray in her early 2017 videos, showing us taking it every AM with breakfast, and stopped as science evolved), but I was puzzled why biotin worked for some and not others… Until a few years ago, when my doc and I had a full vitamin B panel done (unrelated) and low and behold - my B7 (aka biotin) was ridiculously low. NO FREAKIN’ WONDER BIOTIN WORKS FOR ME!!! I promptly started taking it again, and not only did I get my luscious locks back, but my mood elevated quite a bit - maybe because of the locks too, lol Isn’t science cool? I love this stuff so much that I got my Masters in something totally unrelated and then decided to turn my hobby into a career and become an esthi, haha Anyway, I am fortunate that all I need is biotin supplements to maintain my hair’s natural state - the iRESTORE would be overkill because I don’t have any other cause than low B7 levels (which you touched on here)… I watched this video anyway b/c I am a mega-fan and I watch all your videos 😊 But people just take biotin without even thinking about their B7 levels, and are disappointed that they aren’t getting the results they’re promised by the misleading , confusing supplement industry. There is a huge void out there for more info on this subject. Dr. Dray is wicked smart (as are you) and I’ve watched every video of hers since 2017, but she she kind of mysteriously stopped proselytizing it when science evolved, and then started talking about how it doesn’t work, not as clearly WHY. 😉 SO…PLEASE DO A DEEP-DIVE VIDEO ON SUPPLEMENTS - not just B7 - and help us open our eyes to the truth 👁️ -Lindsay (PDX)

Keep in mind that if you stop, hair loss (thinning) will definitely come back. Also each person is different and results will vary. If you have a bold spot or no hair folicle this WON’T work. will this work on male pattern baldness, I shaved my head completely and still do so because I do not want that half head of hair but if this work on male baldness then I would give it a try, I have Lumo trio unit, I have a red light mask, cheep one but it works and I am going to get the Nira pro soon but after that I would consider this, Thanks again

What about using a green tea or rooibos tea serum before the red light ? (letting it dry for about 15 mins before using the helmut)

👁️I have a Capillus and it’s (supposedly) the ones they use in doctors offices. It’s a short cap so I just move the cap to the back of my head on the second round. And by the way, you are literally the only person in the entire world who can’t use the unbrush. It’s a game changer for tangles. Give it another try.

Totally agree, she showed a produ t that didn't chose her to sponsor so now that product is bad. Why cant she move the band 3 times when it requires u to use 30 second per area .

Is it ok to use iRestore after applying scalp products - eg, dry shampoo, root lifter etc.?

Irestores refund policy is abysmal though! High restocking fee-and you dont get all your money back-nearly half is returned.. I got the black one to try and had no idea about this.. 2.5k 😂

I’m curious, if you swap the battery pack, will the timer also change (because the white one is 25 mins and the black one is 12 min)?
@lm070310 ай бұрын
The timer is housed in apparatus attached to the helmet. The battery pack only supplies the power necessary to run it.

They came out with the black one after I bought the professional, but they have a 12 month money back guarantee, so I’m going to return it and apply the refund towards the new one. I’m not seeing great results personally

I recently watched a video on hairbrushes called 'Stop Using the WRONG Brushes for Your Hair Type' by 'Blowout Professor' that you may find of interest, pertaining to your hairbrushes and how to use them. ^_^

Would you consider selling or giving away your irestore pro to one of your viewers?
