Taron walks the line brilliantly between doing his own thing and imitating elton john. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

I like the original the most, one of my favourite songs. The piano in the original is much better than in this version. I really miss the special piano notes during the refrain in this version. But what I like about this version are the violins and the fact that the music really slows down when he says "slowly".
@80steen44 Жыл бұрын
@hudsonS238 Well, Elton's Pinball Wizard is a cover but as far as Elton's version goes who'd feel differently if you grew up on the movie Tommy. Elton's rocking voice carries that one

Er...just NO WAY. Elton performed this song live with just a piano and it was perfect back in the early 1970s. It's on youtube. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gH2cYYehpMtgb9Usi=ztHP0vzgosOBnzqy

I think they’re equal films. I love them both. Rocket man wins in cinematography and editing. But bohemian Rhapsody to me had a cleaner and more concise story in its way it conveyed Freddy Mercury and his rise and fall. They’re both equally amazing movies though. And I’d gladly watch them again
@erinmcgee11605 жыл бұрын
No need to be sorry, I totally agree. While it is very difficult to compare them because they're done in such different styles (I've been saying it'd be more apt to compare this to something like the Jersey Boys movie) I enjoyed this one quite a bit more. Maybe because there was so much more hype for Bo Rhap?

Tiny Dancer Taron Egerton Blue jean baby, L.A. lady Seamstress for the band Pretty-eyed, a pirate smile You'll marry a music man Ballerina, you must have seen her Dancing in the sand And now she's in me, always with me Tiny dancer in my hand But, oh, how it feels so real Lying here with no one near And only you, and you can hear me When I say softly, slowly Hold me closer, tiny dancer Count the headlights on the highway Lay me down in sheets of linen You've had a busy day today Hold me closer, tiny dancer Count the headlights on the highway Lay me down in sheets of linen You've had a busy day today Jesus freaks out in the street Handing tickets out for God Turning back, she just laughs The boulevard is not that bad Piano man, he makes his stand In the auditorium Looking on, she sings the songs The words she knows, the tune she hums Oh, how it feels so real Lying here with no one near And only you, and you can hear me When I say softly, slowly Hold me closer, tiny dancer Count the headlights on the highway Lay me down in sheets of linen You had a busy day today Hold me closer, tiny dancer Count the headlights on the highway Lay me down in sheets of linen You had a busy day today
