Really glad I subscribed to your chanel, because you bring out with some really enjoyable learn-how-to videos to view. Plus, it was your oone of your videos I found to learn how to use a casting rod and reel. (Hence why I subscribed to your channel lol). Thanks for another enjoyable video upload 👍

Looks great casts straiggt even with strong break at 6 . New aldebaran with avail spool casts slightly towards left and you need to time your release point. Shimano definitely has an erge of casting distance over 3 gr but sun 2 gr i think daiwa is more user friendly

Indeed is nice! What was the weight you were testing for that spool that went left? Anytime you have to compensate for a cast, I would write off that weight for what that spool or reel is capable of as not everyone have the skill to adjust and make it work.

@@elwooddestiny11blues20 yes sir. Not everyone have the ability to compensate. Not saying that they don't have the skills, but If I have to make an odd cast when fishing in tight cover with trees by the stream.. Yeah... Even I won't be able to do that

@@rawrfishing hey jimmy sorry for late reply in my last second video i tested the aldebaran 22 avail spool with 0.8gr jighead plus plastic about 1.2 gr i think when there is no wind it was Good distance but still I found myself struggling at first trying to time my release point cause it was casting slightly to left if you cast carelessly I have alphas air with chamaleon spool and it was easier to cast as far as I remember Now I want to try this reset reel spool with alphas I think it might have an edge over aldebaran ( with avail ) in terms of 1 gr casting Which bearings you recommend? Hedgehogs micro air or roro?

Its amazing what small lures catch..you can usually never get skunked if you bring small jig setups i noticed..i have more fun catching a bunch of diffrent species than one 2 lb bass

How does the Chameleon compare to these more expensive spools? Another great video, thank you
@rawrfishing Жыл бұрын
Chameleon spools all broke on me at the cup. But super glue fixes everything. I would say this fixed cup Inductor spool cast control is better for the light lure

Try the kuying Teton 552 sul rod!!

Been thinking about it! But i am setting money aside for Japanese rod(S) for the season. Maybe one more Tsurinoya rod too before kuying lol

Dang that is really light for a daiwa spool haha. Do they have any plans for a dynamic inductor spool???
@rawrfishing Жыл бұрын
Don't know but for something light and close range, static is king

Hey jimbo are you fishing just random spots? or you know ware theres structure from your depth finder last years fishing there
@rawrfishing Жыл бұрын
I would consider contour a primary structure and actual objects such as a stump secondary. With that said, I locate flats, drop offs and points near wind blown areas Most of the time. Or open water exploring with side structure to locate forage. For this trip... I was looking for forage around wind blown areas.

These noname Chinese spools from Ali are only noticeably lighter because they're using cheap light aluminum that is as light as possible, and the spool shaft is also aluminum instead of stainless steel that is on most JDM bfs reels. If the spool is crushed on a hookset, you ain't getting a new one, while from Shimano and Daiwa, they have an actual warranty, so they can't just release some ghetto aluminum spools that are so thin that you can almost see through.
@rawrfishing Жыл бұрын
These are not from China. I believe Hungarian
@Sticky_White_Stuff Жыл бұрын
@@rawrfishing But are they made there? Pretty much all of these kind of brands will order from China, slap their brand on it and call it a day.
@rawrfishing Жыл бұрын
Yes.. Made in their garage... Never seen had any issues with paper thin aluminum either. None are fragile as you stated. Videos or lies!
