What a crazy name! Wow it’s a lovely looking Castle in some very nice surroundings. Particularly liked your choice of music for this one. The fencing exhibition looked interesting. Great fun for the children too! 👍

We've driving by this tons of times and always say we wanted to visit it, but we have yet to visit castle Rising, so great to see it in the flesh in your video! Cool that they were doing a re-enactment during your visit.

What a great tour. Good to know too that you behaved yourself, or else it could have been, "Off with his head!" Someone may have wanted to test their sword skills. lol I have some low arches, but probably not what they mean! lol Always interesting to see these encampments, as I do believe they are called here. Brill vid ...so much history and so well preserved 👍...I had a go at archery a few years ago in Sherwood Forest and was supposed to shoot a Stuffed deer and I still don't know which way the bloody arrow went...Beat one of my sons at aiming for a normal target though even though I nearly took my thumb off ...like the choice of medieval music, suited the vid perfectly ...love the old crafts ...what a Brilliant holiday you and Karen had ...looking forward to ours at the end of the month....Cheers Les.🙂👍

Good evening this is another one of those places we keep saying we will visit but haven't yet done so. It looked magnificent with the tents around it. The castle certainly has a haunting feel about it there is more of it intact than we realised. Looks like a great day plenty of good information. Nice explore around the castle the reenactment crew seemed very good. All seemed pretty knowledgeable and it looked a lot of fun. That one sword 🗡 seemed very impressive.
