Castles, Coast, and Camping

The north Antrim coast is home to many beaches and cliff top castles. With the purchase of the Rambler Pass, Sundance and I are able to hop on and off the buses of Northern Ireland as often as we like for the day. We explore Dunsverick castle, White Park Bay, and the storied Kinbane Castle before heading towards Ballycastle where we discover the Trench Farm.

Amazing views on this part of the trip! I love that you show us the big picture and then stop to show us the little wonders you find along the way. Nothing growing taller than a foot on those windy cliffs! The fallen tree that turned into multiple trees was very cool! Crazy how light it is at 10 pm there!

Awesome! Outstanding coast on Northern Ireland. I loved the location of Dunseverick & Kinbane castles, bleak, wild and wonderful and a quick Google said “St Patrick visited Dunseverick in 5th century AD” 😮Castles are fascinating and I’m always staggered by the human effort that must have been to build these places. Thanks for showing us so much of your journey with Sundance & laughed at your Monty Python quote at the end 😂

Perfect spot for a Castle. If I wasn't so old and responsible I would move back to UK . 72 is a bit too old. I love your passion and excitement and Sundance too. Two of my fav guys. 51 degrees. Ouch.

Amazing. Looks like you are both having a great time, with the castles and geology 🤓 there is a wild camp spot if you follow the road past the beach along the coast...the road eventually becomes a trail and there is a spot below the cliffs. But, would have been a long enough hike even to get to that...hope you both had a good sleep at Trench Farm 😊
