I married a man from New England and lived on the Cape for a number of years. I felt so comfortable there and the decorating style was very much me. Now my new husband and I have Southwestern style but I find I am slowly gravitating back to traditional New England. Thank you for your channel and the memories of those early days.

I watch your channel on my smart television. I don't have a way to comment on them on the smart television. I do enjoy and LEARN from what you are teaching and showing ways to make life great! Take a picture of the bottom of cups and saucers so you can read the fine print easier. I have been wearing glasses since I turned 47. My ancestor, Thomas Fairchild, was one of the founders of Stratford, CT in 1638. I have never been to New England. I am thinking I will go one day when the Pandemic is over.

Your China is from Royal Crown Derby, the pattern is Red Aves. It was discontinued in 1997 but is still readily available online. You can research the company crest, which is on the back of the saucer, it can tell you exactly when your item was made. A nice find.

I just love watching your videos because you and I have the same personality. I laugh because the words on the screen are something I would say or things I would do. I agree with you about the coffee cup you showed in the beginning about in my 50's and 60' I am realizing how much I love the traditional, classic, colonial style decorating. I love blue and white transferware and have decorated my dining room with those dishes on my wall. Ignore the bad comments, they have no taste.

During this time of social isolation, missing old friends and family, New England Fine Living is a happy place. Thank you for that. I am very glad I discovered your KZbin channel. You can sometimes find patterns at replacements.com. It's a good resource if you need to replace an item or two which has been discontinued. Although somewhat pricey, I like to go there and look at the various patterns. I love your home! It's so beautiful; you are very talented!
