Love the end of this. First time you meet Dracula, flailing about with no idea what to do and don't even land a hit, then the montage showing repeated failures and finally the successful run where everything is measured and composed, showing a huge difference in skill from the first fight. This embodies the true spirit of games like this for me, nothing feels better than evolving into a player who can finally beat that boss.

I love your laid back reviews. A lot of reviewers just try to be vulgar or loud or have some kind of gimmick, but Game Sack is very grounded and relaxed. It's a pleasure to watch.

Uh... Just get this one and don't bother with the other two. Adventure and Legends are complete turds (and Legends is crazy overpriced considering how crap it is.) Belmont's Revenge is so awesome it picks up the slack for its loser siblings, though. It's the only GB Castlevania you need.

This is one of those games I got for my Birthday and played a lot! I don't think I managed to get past the scrolling snake boss. Neat to finally see the end. Now to hunt it down again and try and beat it myself ^_^ Thanks guys

4:42 Jelly Fish are called Medusas in Spanish, at least in Mexico, funny thing considering this is a Castlevania game. EDIT: oh well, according to wikipedia... "Jellyfish, jellies or sea jellies are the informal common names given to the medusa-phase of certain gelatinous members of the *subphylum Medusozoa,* a major part of the phylum Cnidaria."

In different regions, the axe or the holy water is replaced with the cross. Also when you climbed that rope to the secret area, you missed breaking the jutting out the ceiling.

Also if you ever heard of the beer Tecate it comes originally from a little town called which is in the border of the state of California and Baja California (or lower California) on Mexico.

I live in San Diego CA about 40 miles from Tecate, been there many times before it got so crazy. My favorite cervesa is Modelo. Try it, it's a dark Mexican beer.

Has anyone else heard there's a rumor that Konami is going to release a Castlevania Anthology sort of collection for the old school Castlevanias? I like to think it's true. The rumor says release in December this year.

It's a shame that Dave isn't part of Game Sack anymore. I would have loved more Playing with Sacks. This series could have rivalled James and Mike Monday's for sure. You both have amazing chemistry together for these playthroughs and also quite funny at times.

In the crystal castle boss, if you just stay crouched all the way to the left side of the screen you can’t be hit and you can just cheese the boss, it completely defeats the spirit of the game and it’s not a difficult boss by any means, that’s how I would do it when I was little and sucked at this game

You guys should've played the color version (Konami Classic Collection GB Volume 2), it really adds a lot to the game and the walking speed is a little bit faster (I have some videos on my channel playing the last bosses, I LOVE this game). Very nice to see you guys with a lot more attitude and more sincere with the way you are in front of cameras. You've come so far by now. By the way, loving BOTH shirts (Long live Ikaruga!). You also missed tons of secrets in this playthrough but I can't blame you as they're cryptic as hell to find.

The music part is debatable; CV Adventure is slightly better because of the year it came out in (only Mario Land also stood out for music excellence) and it makes getting through the game a lot more palatable. Death Fair in Stage 3 for instance. Belmont’s Revenge does have better tunes than I remember from my first playthrough though. Not recognizing the awesomeness of New Messiah is practically a crime in and of itself!
