When they say "facing 112 years", that's basically if she was found guilty of all charges and given the maximum sentence for each crime. Keep in mind that most of which have a minimum of no jail time.

This is how women roll, zero loyalty and don't give the slightest shit about doing what's right, first and foremost in their mind is, "What benefits ME? I'm doing that!" They'll hang with a guy that is knowingly destroying people, enjoy all the benefits, and then play the babe-in-the-woods routine when busted, "I felt coerced, I was afraid to leave, blah blah blah..." All too often, the judicial system follows the old stereotype that chicks don't lie or commit crimes, it's always the guy who is the ringleader and did all the wrongdoing.

Damian Williams, lead prosecutor for the southern district of New York, has said they will seek significant prison time for all defendants. So SBF is looking at least 30 years & the cooperators (rats) are looking at about 4 years which is what would be reasonable for cooperating participants in this case. They will in no way walk free. There were cooperating defendants who plead guilty in the Enron scandal & they all went to prison, all be it for less time because of their cooperation. Pleading guilty is not a get out of free jail card, otherwise all participants in a criminal scheme who just spill the beans about a fraudulent company will never pay for their crimes. Whoever is speculating that these admitted criminals will receive no prison time for their participation in what Mr Williams called "The greatest financial fraud in history" doesn't understand what they are talking about here in these types of financial fraud cases. 40 years ago, nearly everyone would walk free in a case of financial fraud but now the tables have really turned & now a white collar financial fraud criminal will do much more time than an armed robber & that's because these white collar unarmed robbers are perpetrating this robbery every single day over many years. So not only will the 2 rats receive "significant prison sentences" but according to Mr Williams, there will be many more indictments coming.

A character from one of A. Sapkowsky's "The Witcher" books named Zoltan once said (paraphrasing) "I am almost pathological altruist I couldn't help myself but do good in the world since I was a child. However at some point in time I noticed the world is too big and Im just one person so the good I do divided all over the world practically disappears and nobody feels it. She wrote about systemic exploitation and "to be a good person is to burn the system to the ground...even if it requires a substantial decrease in the global standards of living". She was a Socialist. So she was in a win-win situation. Her wealth - some were allegedly stolen from FTX/Alameda - helped her fund effective altruism (which in reality funds Left wing causes). And when her risky bets helped sink the company, she destroyed the wealth of many and helped put a dent in the system, but not quite destroy it.

It's how you get Elon Musk trying to stop AI instead of feeding hungry people. It's all a giant scam. I think John Ray said it very well about the FTX group. FTX Group’s collapse appears to stem from the absolute concentration of control in the hands of a very small group of grossly inexperienced and unsophisticated individuals who failed to implement virtually any of the systems or controls that are necessary for a company that is entrusted with other people’s money or assets. John Ray. This is simple embezzlement. FTX didn’t fail. The money didn’t disappear. They spend it on themselves and believed their political connections would protect them.
