This was so wholesome! I love that they did t try to recreate or one up the first film, but told an equally well crafted story that continues the story.

Fun fact, Hugh grant and the lady that plays his aunt felicity (joanna lumley) both played the doctor, in the children in need dr who special "curse of the fatal death" written by Steven moffatt... u can find it on KZbin and its very amusing/good.... written at a time between the end of classic who and the start of new who...

Thank you. Paddington is such a great series so far. I do hope the third one is jsut as great as these two. It hits UK on 11/8/24 and US on 01/17/25. Hopefully Sony will bump the release closer to the UK release date. :)

Fun Fact: The security guard who keeps on mistakenly falling for guys dressed as women, is Simon Farnaby - the script writer and English legend, well known for being apart of the 'Six Idiots' who made shows such as Horrible Histories and Ghosts (the og english version). He also co-wrote Wonka. Edit: 17:52 also Professor Umbridge aka Imelda Staunton voices Aunt Lucy

Pop up book is a call back to the tv series. All characters except for Paddington, were 2D cutouts. 😊

I am so glad you mentioned this. That original series is TV gold. The episode where Paddington tries to get in a hammock is one of the finest and funniest episodes of children’s TV ever!

I can honestly say, hand on heart (as a long-time movie buff), this is one of the greatest films of the 21st Century so far. Absolutely perfect. Kudos to Brendan Gleeson (who is always PHENOMENAL) and the stunningly brillliant Hugh Grant. All films should aspire to this level of greatness. No hyperbole!

This is one of my favourite films, a little better than the first and the last 5 mins of the film always makes me cry twice- even though I am 58. The post credit scene is also brilliant 😊😊😊😊😊

Paddington 3 comes out January 17, 2025. Paddington and the Browns are going to darkest Peru to visit Aunt Lucy so I'm sure it with be great. Maybe we'll get to see inside the Home for Retired Bears. 🐻
