Yes, this is one of their traits. We had one that we unfortunately lost last year, but early on she would jump into the shower with us and clean herself. Great breed for those who want more of a cat that sometimes acts like a dog.

Seeing him crouch on the front of the surfboard is incredible. All the cats I've known have no understanding of momentum, if they were on something, and that something began to move, they would always fall off/over. To see the cat really *understand* surfing is even more amazing than him just enjoying a fun thing.

Cats (and of course dogs) love the experience of moving at great speed... even -- in the case of our office cat -- spinning fast. He would jump on an office chair and meow people to get the chair spinning really fast while he rides on. You'd stop, and then he'd meow again for more spins. Super kitty!

This has to be the coolest, cutest, and lovable kitty. It takes alot to build a bond like this with a cat. They are the epiphany of indifference. They aren't like dogs, they remember if you were mean, if you yell, if you forget to pet them. You seriously have to earn a cats trust and love. I have had cats and dogs my whole life. They are amazing creatures. Dogs will greet you with such in the moment emotion and excitement no matter what. Cats on the other hand is a earned friendship and love. Mind you, I don't believe I've encountered an animal that didn't like me. But they sense things that we can't sense anymore due to evolution, technology and pollution. I trust my dog or cats read on someone I introduce them too. They are awesome, this man that cat shadows must have some serious good energy, calmness, and loving heart to be able to do these sorts of things with his cat. Amazing.

My Bengal died last year at 16 (cancer) and he was my constant companion. George loved car rides, rides in the dog stroller, hiking, taking a shower, etc. He acted like a dog and human. @@mellawes533 It is a terrible time of mourning that is endless. Our Girlie namend Loonie feat. Loonchen was in some things a unique specimen. No other Cat can replace this. Maybe . . . it just needs time, a lot of time. Our Girlie became 17 years and eight months old. In fact, I thought our Loonchen would be immortal. She was spoiled a hundred times and that's why she became so old. Thought she would even live 20 years, but on February 11, 2021 I got sad and the terrible certainty: "Our time together after 17 years and four months should end!" Weak breath, organ failure and kidney failure were just too much at that age. She would have even died on the operating table. The suffering Loonchen had not deserved further and I had to redeem she from the pain. It was the worst decision I had to make. Three days my eyes were red because of all the crying. I miss Loonchen until today.
