I took in a stray kitten in 2015. He was less than 4 weeks old. He almost never meows, and when he does it is extremely faint. On the flip side, he purrs louder than any cat I've ever met. Maybe it's a trauma thing? Or normal but atypical?

She's never had anything even remotely traumatizing happen to her, yet she meows very faintly. If you weren't listening hard for it, you'd miss it. I think it just depends on how their vocal chords develop. It's likely that simple.

My cat is also named Nala. I didn’t name her, she had been neglected and then abandoned by her first family. She was super skittish, wouldn’t eat unless she was hand fed, and never left her bed. I knew when I saw her that she was mine. When we got home she hid for a few day but by day 4 she was sleeping with me, eating normally, and playing. I’ve had her for 2 years now (she just turned 4) and she’s my little love bug.

Clearly this was meant to be. She was exactly where she needed to be, to find him and for him to find her. The cat distribution system, strikes again! LOL! Its lovely, their relationship. She is so curious and brave. Bless his heart for rescuing her. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

He did have to stop cycling for a while when COVID happened because a lot of the countries he needed to travel through closed their borders. I think he's back on the road though.

What we focus on, we create. News was bad, i felt sad as a kid. Sad then mad as an "adult" Always wondered.. Why don't the adults show miracles. Animals, helping humans. i still hold this belief, in showing the beauty of humanity Thankfully i haven't watched television (tell lie vision :) for 3years. @@tommyriner9914 partially true. Cats have personalities but they can be made comfortable with some things. A lot of cats would never work with riding bikes. My cat, I adopted from a shelter when she was about 2 years old. So, she is what she is. I love her.

I think stray/rescue cats grow much more attached to their human. My mom found a stray and it was the sweetest most well behaved and loving cat. A few years later she adopted a kitten from a family and it was the exact opposite. Only broke things and never liked being held hahaha

@@SeafishNeko all the shelter cats we had were usually more of a loners, we could pick them up and everything, cut their nails, cuddle, but they would do their own thing. I got a kitten last year was 3 months then, and he just loves to be around. Like 24/7 he'll follow me everywhere even right now im on a toilet and he is near my feet. He uses his hands to pick up thing sometimes, catches my hands. And he just wants to be near me. Its the first time from the 4 we owned that a cat is this friendly with me. He is and outside cat, we let him outside and he is friendly with neighbours too, curious tries to climb into their cars and just loves people. Other cat we had would avoid strangers.
