As a house cleaner that cat sits for my clients: So much yes to this video. It's an amazing amount of work sometimes to get cats to warm up to you... even when you've known them since they were kittens. They typically know me as the "vacuuming cleaning guy" and run away. Then I come to sit for them a few times a year and it takes me like 2-3 days to work my way out of being that person to them. Sadly a lot of the time I'm only there for like 4 days and we only get a day or two where we're happily cohabitanting.

Absolutely brilliant Simon. I have since learned about the company The Cat Butler here in the UK and I love what they do. Cats generally prefer the comfort of their own surroundings and people who know how to take care of them. I love the companies ethos and values. I lost my furbaby a couple of years ago and miss her so much still. We're ready for another but waiting until we move as it wouldn't be fair on a cat to do that just now. Thanks for the giggles.

The spider reminds me of the TinyKittens live cam. There was one big spider running around the kitten room yesterday. When the kittens woke up, they had a fun few minutes chasing it around, then it was off to the big web in the sky for that one, Not so lucky as Simon's spider.

Very funny and so close to what cats really are. I've got six of them and each time I feel like watching myself through Simon. Tanks so much and hello to all cat lovers :^) I'll just add that I've totally given up going on holiday or even for a trip. Five hours is the maximum I allow myself to be away from my furry friends and I've never felt the least regret during the 17 years I've been living with them.

I remember watching this in 3 parts but one thing i dont remember was the part where simons cat went to the empty bedroom and yowled, then curled up with kitten to sleep on simons bed 😢 They may have missed simon and felt abandoned but at least they had each other ❤
