Our husky is similarly careful not to step on our cats. I recently witnessed him trying to climb onto the sofa amidst a group of cats, slowly picking his way between them. Most of them dispersed so as not to get stepped on, but once he got settled they all came back and snuggled.

Me too. When I had brochial problems a few years back I found it hard to sleep because of the wheezing sounds I was making, I plugged my earphones into some 10 hour KZbin stereo recordings of rainy nights to drown out the noise my lungs made and drifted off to sleep. I remember one of a rainstorm that had thunderstorms in the distance moving nearer and further away . Magical!
