@@dogrudiyosun I have a kitty that I adopted also from the street name to Yuki he is almost completely identical the kitty in the video. That behavior is so familiar to me. It's the same relationship we have with our other cat. The exception is is that my cat is deaf . Before I adopted my Yuki I had planned to find it a home and I did, through a person that experts in the breed. He identified all the characteristics of a Turkish Angora. On the end I it wasn't a good fit and ended up keeping him instead.

In any case Maine Coons probably have the same kind of demeanor , who knows. In any case cats aren't an exact science. What makes us love cats is each one has a different personality no matter what the breed . Each time we adopt a kitten or a cat it's like putting your hand and a surprise bag full of presents.

He'd recently lost his "brother", a Ragdoll, before I got my little girl. So, my big fuzzy boy and my baby girl bonded well. I treat them as my furbabies. So, I'm Mama and they're the kids. And everyone is happy that way.

This is a wonderful story and an incredibly cute narrative!! I love the girl talking. It’s true that constant staring, especially from above is all about dominance and is threatening body language to cats. He was also stalking / hunting her in a few parts. It’s clear Bean is harmless and won’t hurt her but he’s still a male cat wanting to stake his claim on his territory. It’s nothing bad just normal cat behavior. I can see why she doesn’t like it though! What a beautiful cat.

yes, I noticed that. The stare is actually a threat, not adoration. When he drops down when they first meet and she immediately turns, this is not what they thought it is. A cat that drops this way and holds out its claws is showing it's ready to defend itself. Lily turns away to avoid a fight. The staring while she eats is also a menace, she must be quite uncomfortable with this. And when she lays down next to him, he prepares to lunge at her too to show her she shouldn't lie down there. I mean it's a funny video, but^^ these people don't have a clue.

@@jakual339 that being said, it doesn't seem like it has affected Lily badly. if he was doing it and Lily can't seem to live properly in the house, i.e. giving her stress and making her skittish, then it'd be problematic that the owners are like "aw he just stares at her". but here: he stares at her, Lily just walks away or smacks him _then_ continues on her way. if Bean is being aggro, then Lily is not being pushed around, and that's good. and Bean is not exhibiting any other kind of aggressive behaviour beyond staring at her and trying to get close. for all intents and purposes, the cats _are_ fine. anthropomorphism is bad when actual problems are being overlooked because of it -- or heck, anthropomorphism is bad when *good* things are being overlooked because of it.

@@paula889 TELL me where in the heck Lily is exhibiting stressed behaviour. when Bean is acting dominant, she either walks away or smacks him (and then walks away). otherwise she is chill and loving, and having her own fun. i have had cats where one was being dominant to the other and the other became so stressed he contracted UTI (he got better and the two cats coexisted perfectly fine after that); when he was stressed out he would barely move from one corner and peed all over the place. Lily is shown to be comfortable and relaxed and has no problems interacting with Bean otherwise; heck, she has no problems being _near_ him. Bean is exhibiting dominating behaviour but it really does not seem to go any further than him staring at her and occasionally following her; one could even argue he _does_ have some kind of cat-ish "crush" on Lily, and his way of showing it is with the dominant behaviour that, again, in no way actually hinders Lily's life in her home.

Lily knows who she is, therefore so proud. Lily and her ancestors has been a national treasure of Turkey. She is either Turkish VAN cat or Turkish ANGORA cat, both have same lineage. Most beautiful cats with silky smooth long hair two colored eyes. 💜💙💛

@@ElaAusDemTal VAN cats are all white or sometimes have golden markings. Angora cats also known as pure white yet there are multi color Angoras. When Van cats and ANGORAS has pure white hair, they usually have heterochromia.( one eyes amber or green, other eyes Blue) I dont know about the legend of Muhammeds (s.a.v) blessings of van cats. But according to teachings he loved animals and owned a cat right.🤗
