@Whazzupie5 жыл бұрын
Amazon is your friend, orders above $25, shipping is free. Easy to find some decent rod AND reel combos at the $40 range, even an amazon choice rod-reel for $20 (still read reviews, important). Tackle for freshwater is bundled with containers under the $25 range or less. License in my state is $16 a day, $24 for 2 days, and $49 for an annual year license. Price varies per state. Edit: Annual license means it will last until the end of the current year, it will expire at the beginning of the following year.

Rice is one of the simplest things to cook, 2 parts water 1 part rice (EX: 2 cups water & 1 cup rice) The trick is once the water boils add the rice and season taste then lower the flame or put the pot on a cooler part of the coals to simmer, then "cover the pot & DO NOT OPEN THE LID" for 20 minutes, perfect rice every time!
@jonathantupas59854 жыл бұрын
Loncho thats not the asian way of cooking rice. use your fingers to measure the water level. the rice level should be the same level as the water on your fingers. when measuring the water level the level on top of the rice.
@dalell38084 жыл бұрын
@@jonathantupas5985 the Asian way is not the only way to cook rice each ethnicity has its way of cooking it .... Like for arabs if u doing plain rice u do it like the original comment... best way to cook rice for a basic serving is putting the same amount of water with the rice. e.g if you use a cup to measure the amount of rice you're putting in you should do the same with the water, 3cups of rice = 3cups of water. we only use the knuckle method when we cook large amounts of rice like more than 15pounds. the hardness/soggyness would sometimes depend on the quality of the rice tho a good quality one would prolly work fine. and if your cooking it on coals make sure to rise the pot up when the water is gone so it would slowly cook the rice properly on it's insides. works 90% of the time. trust me on this since I'm south east asian and we eat rice everyday like how the stereotype portrays lol

Found this channel the other night and love it. Old video I know but just a heads up if you cover rice with water up to your knuckle that's why it's soggy. You cover up to the first line where the joint is of your index finger when you stick it in. You also wash the rice first so it doesn't clump together/go gooey. Once the water has reached the same level of the rice you then cover it and that way you never need to worry about the hot water building up when trapped under a lid and having boiling water over flow. Trust me I'm Asian 😂 (well half) I also like to add things into the water/rice too like herbs, spices, onions, soy sauce ect to give the rice extra flavour. Or boil tea leaves in with the rice 🤷♂️
