My fishing buddies and I always release the females if they are still carrying eggs. Even the spawned out females are likely guarding the nests but we limit our daily catch to one meal requirements .. nothing in the freezer. Just doing our best to preserve the resource. Love white bass fishing. Still cold here in Indiana, so about 2 weeks until my favorite spot starts the run. There are times they are so thick you can walk on their backs lol. Can’t wait. Great video Cole.
