Cole I hope that you keep trying to catch a tagged catfish and get some money for it also!!! I would definitely keep trying until you do end up catching one for sure!!! I’m sure 500.00$ would help a little also!!! It definitely would help me a little but I’m a little to far away to even try and catch one but if I did live close I can tell you I would definitely be out every day trying to catch one or even two or three!!! Lol!! Well I hope that you do some more videos of trying to catch some because I definitely love watching you try and I also love limb lining!!! I canned 21 pints of pickles this summer. Eighteen were dill pickles. My wife and son don't care for bread-n-butter pickles, but I do! I canned me 3 pints of those.

Went and put out limblines myself this weekend. Went to Marrianna Ar, and only caught 3 out of 23 lines. I use trot line clips for my drops off the main line from the limbs. Those clips have swivels on them. Love your videos. Keep looking for the money fish 🐟

Cole have you ever tried small sponge pieces with ruined cheese melted and poured over the sponges and let it soak in. This is great for catfish in the fall. I also use ivory soap in small pieces in the spring. I make a real tight like bow using 10 mono line and slice the soap in square blocks works best in spring early summer.

There is a small silver lining to this big cloud after the shore dries enough to plant the vegatables will grow so good you won't believe I had a friend in SC.and after Hugo the dam that he lived beside was damaged beyond repair and he just planted a garden and it did great he had corn that was ten feet tall with big white sweet ears the only thing that didn't do good was grapes he spent a bunch of money on a arbor that was real big and they just didn't like the soil or something

Sucks Lake Conway is about to be toast. I remember when they drained it down last time. When I was a kid they drained Lake Pine Bluff. It was due to PCB’s.

I don't live near a lake with any Cypress trees so I was wondering if it will kill them as well when the lake is drained and the land dries up? If so it seems counter intuitive since one of the Wildlife Commissions stated "goals" was to increase structure and habitat in the lake.

Hey Cole! Another great video. Once again sorry about them draining the lake. This might be a silly question!. Is there anyway when the lake levels go down, can the fish and wildlife people catch or trap the fish than place them in different waters?.. I know when the river runs dry here, I try to catch as many as I can and put them in sandpits or ponds. I know many people say it’s just Mother Nature!. But it still breaks my heart.! To catch more cats with live bait, cut their tails off, just short enough to add a little a little blood to the water, but dont kill them. That also keep your bait out of snags, and they stress less and live longer, until they get munched. Also the cats wont have to try to catch the bait fish because the baitfish cant get away, but they will struggle which also atracks the cats. Maybe dont do this in front of the camera for KZbin. They might have an issue with it. Today you baited up off camera mostly, so that works.

Yeah, that's a sound advice. Though I don't know about freshwater fish. I live in the Pacific where fish is abundant here. The way it looks I can't eat catfish. Mostly near neighborhood lakes. I imagined what neighbors throw, they might throw dead farm rottens, and catfish eat em. Yes, he's right, catfash is really shiny and juicy, oh Lord. I saw river scuba diver in one of Americas lake where he saw tons of fat catfish eating human remains.

I've never had as much luck on gold fish as I have small bluegill or shad even if the bluegill are as small as a gold fish I still catch them better

Hunter's boat could surely benefit from some carpeting on the deck to deaden that awful racket..... With draining off the Lake... what becomes of the fish??? Will the powers that be increase or do away with creel limits?? Will the fish be able to swim off to another water system? Just curious.... From doing a bit of research it would appear that they have been fairly successful with past drawdowns and reconstructions, or what ever they term it, as far as increasing the overall quality and opportunities afforded. Yes, five, or more years, IS a very long time not to have your home waters available... keep a positive and forward looking attitude.... imagine how the Lake will be when your children reach the age that you became so attached to it!!!
