Hi Frankie just catching up on KZbin videos as I’ve been night shift this week that was a fantastic mackerel and when you cooked it made me want to go fishing for one . Nice one Frankie enjoyed it 👍

No worries at all brother. My whole life since I was 18 was nightshift. Musicians don't play during the day... not the cool ones anyway. Thanks loads my man

I don't fish, but used to go with my grandfather and would cheer whenever he caught anything, lol! Good memories! Of course Alan is the star!🙂🥰

My dad took me fishing a couple of times. I hated it. He only took me to stand there and watch his line and give him a shout if it moved while he got drunk with his pals. Now I do the same to Alan

@systemSkynet lol! I don't recall my gramps drinking beer but he did make his own hard cider! One sip would grow hair on your chest he would say, lmao!😁

Plaice and mackerel - my two favourite fish. I haven't had plaice in 20 years - since I lived in Bodmin. I think it all goes to restaurants. I'll just have to have some fish fingers with loads of tartare sauce, and pretend.

If you're there when it's warmer, footwear for shallow stuff and mud is - Crocs. Impervious to water, they dry out in no time flat. But they do look shite

@@systemSkynet Eh?what footage is that? The rest makes no more sense either to me.. I've worn crocs by the waterside and in and out of canoes for close on maybe 20 years.

I mean this in the best way, there's a certain homemade vibe to your videos that i think a lot of these other channels lack. This video reminds me of a video i would have made while camping with my dad or something and it's 10x better than some super high speed production. Again, i mean this all in the best way, but the simplicity of editing and footage is extremely attractive.
